Midis In Backgrounds?

I've been doing a lot of research and trying REALLY hard
to understand, but I just don't get it, yeah?!

Can anyone tell me (in a way I can understand) how to
put a midi in my userpage & set it to play? X-O
Please, I really want to know, yeah? :nerd:

Google is your friend. Here's a site that explains everything and gives you the actual code near the bottom of the page:

http://www.midikeyboard.net/midi/Embedded_MIDI_Files_Web_design.cfm

Thanks, Arny! XD

Though, out of stubborness, I managed to get the midi playing
on my page myself! XO

But I really do need this link because there're still a few things I
don't get yet!

Thanks, yeah! :D <3

My advice is don't. Midi's and other embedded music and videos are the most annoying thing in the world.

The last thing a person wants is to go to a homepage, browse the contents and then suddenly get startled by some gaudy music (be it midi or those embeded music players).

XP Yeah, but it's cool, yeah!
Besides, I didn't hide it in the background, I put it in a way where
if the person is annoyed or doesn't like it they can stop it, yeah.
Plus it's not continuous! Only plays once when you come to the userpage, yeah.

So ya see, nothing wrong, yeah!
And I made sure it's a good song too! XD

Mt. Gagazet from FinalFantasyX, yeah! XD

Plus, I decided to choose midis and make a layout matching it!
Lotsa fun, yeah! :3 And I'm sure it'll be fun for others too, yeah!

I used to be like kiopi, but in the broadband age the banwidth MIDIs use is negligible so having them is fine, however I must stress that they do NOT play until the user clicks play. With most browsers supporting tabbed browsing, having MIDI on your page can become a real nightmare.

I place playlists in mine. I allow the person who visits my page to play it themself. MIDIs though, sound terrible to me. >.< You are welcome to check out my userpage here if you want to see what I did with my music. ;)

XD I am checking your page, yothsothgoth!

And yeah, most midis sound horrible and annoying but not every single one! X3
Mine don't seem annoying to me! O_o;
That wasn't helpful at all was it...

For mine, I found a code that allows you to embed the midi and play it automatically.
It was an XHTML code.
And I've tested it and it works. And people who came to the site heard it... :X
But then again, I'm not such a computer wiz kid, I have no idea what tabbed browsing is. X3

Hey selemental... I'm also glad you liked my page. I think your midi sounds fine.
You're the first one I think I've ever said that to about the midi on their page. ;)
Feel free to tag my page anytime. XD Have a great weekend!

It sounds nice. Hope to hear more!
