i havnt tried it myself but yeah.... if you wanna try this go ahead =)
2 tbsps. oliv oil
1 clove garlic
1 cup sliced shitake mushrooms
1 cup diced oyster mushrooms
1 cup black pitted olives
1/2 cup capers
fresh basil leaves
5 large tomatoes, chopped
1 250-gram can tomato sauce
salt and pepper
375 grams cooked pasta
1 cup parmesan cheese
in a large skillet, heat olive oil and saute garlic until lightly browned. add
the two kinds of mushrooms, olives, capers, and basil leaves. saute for a few
minutes, then add tomatoes and tomato sauce.
season to taste with salt and pepper. let simmer for 5-10 minutes. pour over
cooked pasta. sprinkle with parmesan cheese and garnish with additional fresh
basil leaves.
if you're going to go veggieness you might want to try some tofu it is loaded
with protein and all natural bean sprouts are good as well, in most anything,
very good for the legs and you can try your local grocery section around the
produce area they have, sometimes (well where I shop at *walmart, krogers, food
city, etc*) that have veggie recepies I love
meat too much to be of much help to you...
