I true that a successful anime series has a use for all of it's characters. but
I wish they gone rid of misa in deathnote it would make to story so much better
in my opionin.
I believe that chacter have a use at first but that use changes or gones away.
In some series that is when you should trash a character.
That's an easy question. Renton Thurston, from Eureka Seven. Annoying as hell.
Of course, you can't really have the show without him, as he is the main
character. At one point I didn't like Kikyo from Inuyasha either, but that's
changed.
Other than that, I can't think of any other character that I just plain dislike.

There are a couple of characters that really make me angry in the Gundam Seed
series. First of all Fllay. Who does she thionk she is? Some kind of important
person? HA! I would axe her in a second.
Second, Kuzzey was just annoying and barely did anything at all. He should do
nothing productive somewhere else. Meyrin is just an attention hog who's always
all over Athrun. Hello! He doesn't love you! Yuna (or however you spell his
name) is more of a princess than Cagalli is. Someone get this guy a mirror so
he'll leave the rest of the world alone. And finally, Shiho. How many lines does
she have? None? For crying out loud, what's the point of having a character with
no lines? Sure there are random people, but she has a name! Is she a mute or
camera shy?
And that's only the characters from Gundam Seed & Gundam Seed Destiny.
Shinn from Gundam SEED DESTINY! it`s weird to kick the main character, but he is
so annoying... he doesnt suit in the "main character pattern" and
always thinks he is right!
fllay from Gundam SEED! what did she do? she was useless and also very cruel,
she loved kira only because in exchange, he would protect her life, so it was
only to protect herself!
