What brand of color pencils do you use?
Im currently using 3 brands
Faber castell made from indonesia
colleen from japan
and, erm..lil' hands from Thailand
[but i seldomly use that lil' hand]
im planning to buy different brands of color pencils to get that different shades of colors,
so what're you using then, and from what country are they manufactured?
are they good enough?
do you know what is the best country that manufactures the best coloring medium?
*If you're not using color pencils, then what are the other medium/s you use?
[please specify the brand name]
Thanks A lot
Berol art pencils
I usually use a brand of pencil called Start Colouring made in England. They are water colour pencils so i can blend and shade really easily. Just lately tho i've been trying out Letraset Promarkers. Haven't quite got the hang of them yet tho
He he.
Pop me any coloring tools and a myriad of colors will show up later.
Heh, tools of the trade ya ?
I only know about Germany being able to produce quality mechanical drawing equipment, but im not sure about the coloring medium though.
Maped colored pencils - don't remember, I threw away the box
Koh-I-Noor colored pencils - Czech Republic
Lyra colored pencils (don't know the country, I threw away the box)
I use these, because I am satisfied with them and I think they are good brands. I would recommend them to anyone who likes coloring and drawing
I am terrible at art so I don't really know any brands..........
Personally I think that colored pencils or water color is best for coloring because it's easy to use and other utensils like oil pastel seem too.......... thick and annoying.........
maped, i think, i heard them. [and probably cost a lot] haha! anyway, i'll check it
thanks!
MONGOL from the Philippines!
yung kulay BLACK! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
@rorenzu: Maped pencils are very good indeed, but they aren't very expensive here. There are a lot of colors to choose from (I have a set of 24, but there are also sets of 18 and 7, I think). The fluorescent ones are a bit strange, though, kind of like markers.
maped brand cost much here
[not sure with the colors though]
i would also like to avail a marker but they almost cost one box of color pencils per piece
[what no. of mongol?heh.]
actually, i don't use any kind of pastel. they're messy
but im considering..
color pencils (cough)
mongol no.1!
I'm also using Faber Castell and Colleen...
faber castell and colleen
I use Derwent Studio and Artist packs, made from England.
*writes notes

I'll check out these brand names.
thanks guys!
mongol no.1 that's quite hard to use because it is a "hard" pencil, heh.
[could it be that england produce quality coloring materials? hmm]
and i think, here in the Philippines, faber castell and colleen are very popular.[cause, mostly, my classmates also use the same brands]
CRAYONS! lol. (actually, I do use them on occassion, when I'm bored...)
I usually use crayola, faber castell, and something I got in Thailand when I was nine that I don't know the name of.
I haven't bought any new colored pencils since then, though... That was years ago. lol.
i'm so noob at art
, theres
so many different shades.. for me.. it would be, .... the one nearest to me =P
as there is random pencil crayons around my house... also i
noticed....WHY?!...... pencil crayon = colored pencil @____@.... permanant
marker = sharpies ( i know its a brand but its also said in general to describe
it )........... i won't say anymore or people will spam at me
( laugh
a little whoever understands that )
haha! crayons are so hard to use
can't bare with it! [unless, im using a parchment.
]
Crayons are fun though. Not good for serious art, but good for scribbling!
haha! sounds so nostalgic
I use grey pencils, to reflect the colour of my soul. Dull.
really? hmm.. *imagines* color grey. looks like a black and white effect to me.
and sounds like more sentimental than the colored arts
