For me, I would choose Hanamichi Sakuragi but Harima Kenji comes to a close. Both of these characters had changed because of...well...love. I really like Sakuragi more because of his attitude as well as his skills. Harima however, is really admirable since his love for Tenma-chan is really strong and true. I mean he really changed a lot!
Seiji Sawamura is good too but I still like both hanamichi Sakuragi and Harima Kenji than him

Seji is indeed cool, but imho he never was a real delinquent... iirc he was only seen that way by others and always got challenged... he didn't want to be one... whatever

If you really want a badass, how about Sanzo (and his entire party) from the Saiyuki series? He's so bad he fires his gun at his own companions (from really short distance
) about 20 times a day!

I agree with Kikyo, Sanzo and the party are pretty badass. Sanzo does shoot at the party and even beats Gojyo and Goku with his fan ^^ Nice choice of character
