For me, there's a number of individual clubs I barrack for (for different
competitions):
English Premier League: ARSENAL
Spanish La Liga: BARCELONA
Dutch League: PSV Eindhoven
Australian A-League: Central Coast Mariners (who are going to be in this years
A-League Grand Final this weekend! WOO-HOO!)
Funny enough, I don't seem to have a favourite club in Italy's Serie A though
(there are A LOT of excellent clubs that I can't seem to choose a favourite! Oh
well...)
Whichever one has the least injury fakers on it. Give me a team where every
player stays on their feet instead of collapsing to the ground when anyone puts
their leg up within 10 feet of them.
Yea I'm that ignorant American who hates soccer. I'll watch the World Cup to see
how my country represents, but other than that I'd rather watch the Home
Shopping Network.

Actually it's not like that...yes there is a part of the soccer which is very
annoying but if you watch soccer for a long time you get addicted to it, you
discover the pleasure and the magic of this sport. No wonder it's the #1 sport
in the world.
It's the #1 sport in the world because everybody can play it. All you need is a
round object to kick and a place to do it, and you have soccer. American
football (or as I like to call it... God's Football) is expensive to play so
third world countries can't play it as freely as they can soccer. Hockey
requires a rink, pads, sticks and a puck. Baseball requires bats, balls, helmets
etc. Soccer is cheap so the world gets into what it can afford.
Let's not call it arguing, more like competative disagreement. It's not
necessarily that I hate soccer... more like I enjoy a twisted form of it in the
form of hockey. To nets, a goalie and people trying to score something. Hockey
is fast paced and if someone trips you or even looks at you with a crooked eye,
you fight. Hockey used to be awesome when the person who lost the fight got
penalized, but now they penalize both. Even still, that is soccer on ice... and
I love it.
I guess if I'm going to spend 2 hours watching a 0-0 tie, I at least want
something like a guy get blasted in plexiglass.

You have a point there
But for instance last night, the game between Manchester United and Roma was
awesome, but on top of that (I don't know if you watch Champion's League finals)
last year Man United played with Roma again on 1/4 finals and won by 7-1 That
was the coolest soccer game I've ever watched

Believe me, not everyone can play Soccer...but anyway there's no sense arguing with you, we are on different opinions xD
