I woke up 4 hours early this morning to run into work and fill in for the
laziest boss ever conceived by humanity. Understaffed and overworked I was
breaking down 4 hours into my 11 hour shift and I needed a break. Right as I
sit down in the cozy park behind my job I get a call on my cell...AND TO MY
SURPRISE its my boss :O (keep in mind I'm an assistant manager) telling me he
wont be making it to work at all.......its a Saturday, our busiest day and I
feel like I want to die. 8 hours into the shift: i start closing business for
the day, and who shows up to work with no shirt on and plastered....my boss
HOORAY! Though my first concern would be that he's driving his BMW with a bottle
of vodka, i wasn't firing on all cylinders and it never crossed my mind. After a
lengthy conversation about some chicks breasts i finally convince him to go back
to his car and sit down....instead, he goes back to his car and drives it into a
street light....the light falls into the store wall and rips a gash any person
could walk through.........happy day...oh happy day...... :X
With this story in mind I gotta hear some other boss related horror stories so
that i know i'm not completely alone........
Jeez, u got it bad, I feel sorry for u. I'd like to share my horror stories with
u but sorry, I never experienced any horrors around my boss, luckily. Did have a
nightmare involving him, though
So I guess u really are the only one here on MT that has it rough...Gotta work

HOLY SHIT! That is a true horror story! When I was working in the deli at a
grocery store, my boss randomly didn't show up for work. And again the next day.
And again. Finally we find out that she's in jail! My friend and I had to work
12 hour days for 2 weeks to cover all the shifts because our other deli employee
refused to work more than 10 hours a week. We didn't know how to order supplies
or what to get from vendors when they came in, it was crazy. THEN, after she was
finally out of jail, the store manager told us we wouldn't be getting OT for all
the extra hours because we only got paid OT after 40 hours per week, and since
we were only scheduled for 35, the hours that would make up to 40 were
unapproved and would not be paid. It was total crap. Yours is worse, though.
