War is something so unnecessary. Is anyone in this world really that different
that we feel we must kill each other? Why not band together to make the world a
better place rather than divide ourselves? I bet war will be what ends the human
era if global warming doesnt do it first.

bring grief, destruction, and bloodshed to all who are involved. It takes away

serves to improve the human race by spurring us to better ourselves and
preventing us from beecoming complacent. If you look at human history, you can
see that when a nation becomes so powerful that no other civilization could even
pose a challenge, it eventually corrupts its self and collapses.
Humans need enemies. We need a reason to live, something to fight. When there
are no enemies to give us purpose, we begin to see ourselves as enemies. Then we
start fighting one another and eventually destroy ourselves.
However, modern warfare is a disgrace to what war is supposed to be. It's no
longer a contest of strength and strategy, it's just a race to see who can build
a bigger bomb and massacre more people in one shot. All we want to do now is to
be able to create senseless violence and mass destruction without having to lift
a finger.
To answer the question: I like war. But this isn't war, it's slaughter.

you think about war? I wish to read your answer. I'm a civillian in an
almost military family and I don't know about war more than my relatives tell.
I was an air force brat, after that I didn't really see a point to war and not
in this life but I have been in wars in my past lives and war meant just about
as much then as it does now...nothing
what i think? i think it's absolutely funny. my previous comment was very
sarcastic and i didn't think anybody would find it serious. but personally, i
believe wars are a necessity. i know firsthand that the military wastes money on
stupid shit [they're willing to spend money on talking trash cans than sending
willing soldiers (like ]myself) to airborne school]. but wars do boost economy.
i don't know the current economic situation but it helped a great deal in the
past, like the great depression. oh and on another note, soldiers know what
civilians go through and then some considering some of them are parents and have
diseases like aids (though it was their mistake.) some joined the military
because of poverty. and no offense, but the air force is nothing compared to the
old days. they don't face as much threat compared to the previous wars and
they're being downsized because they cost too much to maintain. anyway, we're
probably better off with wars. help with population control. if the chinese n
indians had a lot more civil wars, they would probably have a lot less than what
they have now. sure it's cynical but it's also possible.

disagree it doesn't help enough with over population because it's always other
countries that loves lives and they can replenish theirs quicker then the us
because the us has taken some control over extreme birthing but not
