I don't celebrate my own birthday... I found out that it nothing special to me,
it just a same old day, again. Or i'm just one year older, that's all I told my
mother that we can forget about the birthday cake
But many of my friends like to celebrate their and others birthday (It my
friend call me in for the party i'll go ) My
friend say that birthday happen ones in a year and it special so have to
celebrate and the reason they give was this:"so that friend and family can
get together for the one thay care".
So, people on MT do you celebrate your own birthday and your friend as well?

Heck ya! Birthdays rock! I do have a friend that doesn't celebrate her birthday,
so I randomly send her birthday presents at other times of the year. Birthdays
are a reason to enjoy time with family and friends, and any excuse to get
presents I'm good with.
When I have money, yes and also only when I'm about to leave the school, like when
I was 12,i was going to leave for high school so...I celebrated my birthday
which was a sad one anyway,in other words yes,I do celebrate my birthday.
I tend to mostly ignore it...I may take myself out to a dinner at a resturaunt
or get myself something (game, movie, whatever) but I don't go too far out of my
way for it
I also don't tell people about my birthday...I don't like the attention, not to
mention the stupid song 8p
Heh, I don't think too much about it since it just a day. Often, I treated it as
" Holy S***, one more year older, one more year of more responsibilities to
take care off." So, what do I do ? I indulged myself in a food frenzy
around the country, jump, run and play to my hearts content as time allows OR
simply sleep the day through just to forget it's my birthday.
So, yeah. I do celebrate it in a way different from others. ;D
No...it's just another day for me, and I'm not excited about getting any older.
But I have very special people who go through their way to suprise me and do
stuff for my Birthday
Hm, I've never thought about it that way. When I used to be in primary &
secondary school I celebrated my birthday, but invited few friends over (wasn't
too popular back then). This year I haven't celebrated my birthday, mainly
because I had new classmates and didn't know them well enough It was
better off this way anyway.
Even if I don't celebrate my birthday, that doesn't bother me too much. After
all, I don't see it as a special day that needs to be carved in my memory for
eternity It's just a normal day, like any other. I do try to go out with friends, if
possible, and treat them to something -it would be difficult to go out with
them, since my birthday is in January and we'd all freeze outside
Birthdays are good for the presents as well, but having friends and family
around is what I look for the most And I
take care of that all the time, not just one day a year
Nope but I still get 'Happy Bdays' from them. I dont think ill ever hold my own
party, i think its troublesome. As long as i get some presents and that they
reme,ber, im fine with it.
I strongly agree with your friends, i like to celebrate others birthday, not
pretty much my birthday! I like to celebrate others birthday is like what your
friend said, get tgt and have fun, and i think if someone gt no one to celebrate
birthday with them, it`s actually quite a sad thing so i always will try my best
to give present, even if i`m broke i will send a message or go for just a meal
to celebrate with them... But sometimes i dun really like my birthday is becuz
the more i hope the more i get dissapointed... Like how i wish my family or
friends will celebrate with me yet in the end it turn out to be dissapointing so
i rather make others happy by celebrating with them! so you are fotunate that
your mom would like to celebrate your birthday with you!
I found that my Birthday has more meaning for my family than myself. They are
really the only reason I enjoy it. Mostly during the year I entertain myself
with things I buy for myself so I usually tell my family not to buy me anything,
doesn't work though.
I stopped celebrating mine when i was 16, i just didnt care about it that much,
and it wasnt that fun and i didnt like being in front of all my friends
pretending im excited about presents.
In my family it's tradition, everyone celebrates his birthday, and all of us go
to the party. We eat, eat, everyone drinks, som of them get drunk, they take the
guitar and start singing (shouting, maybe). It's really funny, all my friends
like my family.
Birthdays... the anticipation is exciting. I only celebrate with my family.
Friends.. do I really want to cook for them? Or spend money on them? Birthdays
are getting old and I'm just 16. I just expect a song and ice cream cake and I'm
good to go!

Birthday is the day you came to this miserable place called Earth.
Wow... that's emoish... yet so true...
I end up celebrating my birthday in a way, but then again... I don't want to... I DON'T WANT TO BE OLD *cries* oo looky, caps.
definitely! i recently celebrated with a friend, and family and boyfriend. it was very memorable. ;D

It doesnt exist for me. It died when I was 8.
I found that my Birthday has more meaning for my family than myself. They are really the only reason I enjoy it. Mostly during the year I entertain myself with things I buy for myself so I usually tell my family not to buy me anything, doesn't work though.
Haha! Thats life till the day we die
Nah, no point in celebrating just by myself.
today is my 'sweet-sixteen' b'day
X)
i usually went to restaurant n eat with my fams n friends. they give me presents, too..
I'm celebrating my own birthday right now! Catch is, I treat it like any other day.

I forget about it most years. I just can't be bothered by it, I guess
