I just talked to a friend who was japping about how she was gonna meet an attractive male person with dark hair this week. Accordingly to her horoscope, that was. She totally believes that crap and practically can't live a day without checking her horoscope, looking for happiness and fortune. I'm rather cynical towards these kind of things, I must say I'm pretty down-to-earth. So do you read your horoscope every day/week/month or whatever and am I absolutely wrong or do you think it's all commercial nonsense too?

Well, the horoscope that your friend read seems to be more detailed than others. Horoscopes usually say things that apply to everyone. One just leaning more to one detail than the others.

Anyways, I don't read my horoscopes that much. Probably once in a blue moon or so

I agree with you though. Commercial nonsense is a good word for it ^^ Although, if your friend actually finds this attractive person, surprised would be considered an understatement. It's surprising how much your friend seemed so pumped up about it.

lol! As you know I read too much in horoscope and I try to get the newspaperwhen I go to school or get out.:D Of course I believe 90% of the crap. I realyl believe in it and that's why I can understand ppl who I don't get along and do get along thanks to it.

I wouldn't say believing in horoscopes is insane, bad, stupid, crap, or whatever. After all, it's just for reference. It might not be accurate, but some might actually state some true facts, or let you realize more about yourself if you find some of the facts to be true. Another use of horoscopes would be to make people feel more comfortable. Some people are just really uncertain about their lives, and need horoscopes to raise their confidence. If you can't stand with week minded that's fine, but I'd much rather choose to help them.

Well, I don't read my horoscope by my own will. I only read it if by chance I come across one. One that's for free anyways. xD They might not be 100% true, but they're fun to read.

I believe that horoscopes have the potential to be true if you look at the bigger picture. Lots of people jump up and down and go oh, look! I'm an Aires! This means that personality-wise I'm this, this and this! The problem with something like that is, that's only looking at one tiny part of something (i.e. only your sun sign which doesn't mean very much at all until it's put together with everything else). A lot of people actually think your ascendant sign is a far more driving force, and then there's your moon sign, etc. etc. It's actually a long, complex thing to work out - anyone who's drawn up a proper star chart for themselves or for another person knows that.

Then again, if you're talking about horoscopes in amagaxines... utter bull.

Well, I do read mine when I happen to be flipping through a newspaper, but I don't place a lot of faith in them.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone. And maybe you got a point about uncertain ppl reading their horoscope to raise their confidence. To be honest, I'm not very selfconfident myself, but that doesn't make me rely on horoscopes or anything to make me feel better. Guess there are others who do :P

It depends on what kind of Horoscopes you read. Yes I would say they have the potential to be true, but that also depends on your believe. Truthfully I don't believen Horoscopes but I love reading them everyday for fun just to see what they say. It it's sometimes creepy though when they are telling the truth. and the kind of horoscopes I'm talking about are the ones in anthology, not in newspaper and magazines.

so I guess there's truth between the words.Try to fit it with our daily routine life..there's should be a connection between the words.

I'm not sure about this. Sometimes (when I bother to read) though they are uncanny, how insightful or accurate they are. However, that could just be coiencidence. People often only see what they want to see, and read more into things than are meant.

horoscopes are mostly bunk but astrology mixed with personology is scary accurate.. the book "the secret language of birthdays" knows personal stuff about every1.

Sometimes, it seems to hit the spot, but other, way off..I don't think I believe it all, but it's fun somewhat to read it.

Everyonce in awhile I'll look at a horoscope...and they never come true. I don't believe a horoscope can tell me my future, but when I read about Geminis they have my personality pretty much down.

I'd have to say it's 70% bullshit. The "psychics" of the world only do it for money.

I'm semi-on the fence....the principal of horoscopes strikes me as almost laughable, but there have been instances where it's been eerily accurate...definitely a strange occurrence
For the most part, though, I tend to disregard them and look at mine only out of boredom or mild curiosity

The art of drawing up a proper horoscope is known by a few ppl these days. The stuff u get in magazines are bullshit! But a proper one to one individual one should be okay. I do tarot and its pretty good for me and the ppl i do it for!

Nope! I just like my astoroligcal sign and the mythical legends related to it. But I don't think dail/weekly/monthly horoscopes have any bases. When I was a teenager, I used to find these things interesting and funny. My classmates and I used to read our daily horoscopes loudly from the morning newspaper and make fun of it. (Lots of laughs and jokes).

Sometimes i do watch a programme that talk about horoscope and i do really my horoscope weekly... I believe some of the infomation is correct as i did went throught the same thing as what it was written but i`m not totally crazy abt it, i wun believe relation stuff written on it, i jus read on the prediction on work, emotion and luck... To me, it`s just leisure, for fun and reference... But will not affect my daily life...

Don't rely on it too much. Some things might be a coincidence. It can be entertaining for a few seconds, though.
