FMA wallie
- The scan is bad quality. It looks sluggy and the extraction is poorly done. So
find a better quality scan, or a different scan, and work on the extraction. IM has good
cleaning and extraction tutorials.
- I guess the background is alright, but it seems rather random compared to the
scan.
- Lose that small image of Roy in the corner.
- Don't forget your signature.
Gundam SEED wallie (Lacus)
- Scan is too blurry. The extraction is alright, but the quality needs to be
better. Again, check out IM's cleaning tutorial, or else try vectoring Lacus.
- The background is also a bit strange. The filter makes it look grainy.
- The font is ok, I guess (I'm not really good with font) but the black
"E" needs to change color. It stands out too much.
- Don't forget your signature.
Gundam SEED wallie (Kira & Lacus)
- Extraction needs work
- Scan looks enlarged and grainy. Find a better quality scan.
- The grass is weird. Work on that. Ningen's has a good grass
tutorial.
- The filter background's gotta go. I would suggest an outdoor-like background.
You know, a sky, clouds, maybe some birds, etc etc.
- Get rid of that "Gundam SEED" font, it's too bit and too
distracting.
- Don't forget your signature.
I suggest you create a new thread for your new wallpaper next time.
As for your wallpapers the problems are similar to those in the older walls, the
scan quality is low in both walls, it also seems like you made too heavy use of
smart blurr on the Geass scan.
The background in the Geass wallpaper looks rather overfiltered and the colours
don't really fit. If you want to keep a filtered background I suggest that you
tone it down a little and apply different colors (warmer colors would be better
in my opininon).
The second wall seems a little overcrowded with the little images, I'd throw
them out and try to get a less blurry background.
Hope that helps you out a little, even if it sounded rather harsh. Before you
work any further on these wallies you should really look for better scans or try
to vector your images.
So I've got few walls 'ere which were deleted, and i dunno what to do with them. Please, smone help and tell me what shall I work on ;p
