was pretty hard to not be noticed since normal people don't have so many bombs*

Hayabusa, the platoon's engineer "We better get to our foxhole too, start

battlefield? She was too well hidden to be a common soldier... and even though
he hadn't seen her and she had a clear shot, she didn't take it... What a

behind some rocks. "Yes, Sir?" "You take charge, I must go to HQ
and attend some matters of importance" "Ok, Sir" Daniel left and
Hayabusa started ordering people around...

while the other landing barges hit the beach*
Amaya: .... *puts weird looking bullets in her gun and she was great at aiming
and she shot all the USSMC soilders at the front row on the neck but they didn't
die, instead they fell asleep and she thinks: Sorry sorry! I can't help feeling
sorry!* ... *continues making the enemies sleep, she had great aim than glares
at kojimo and mutters to herself* I'm not a guy.... *remembers she was dressed
like a guy and thinks: Oh... Though... That's pretty insulting...*
Daniel: *picks up the radio and contacts the neareast artillery
emplacement*
"Target the landing crafts coming towards the beach! The coordinates are:
blah blah blah! (says the coordinates). Fire at will!" *hangs up the
phone... then turns towards the landing crafts at the beach, mans the machine
gun in his foxhole and starts shooting the invaders*
Radio to amaya: Amaya Kyoko... Please go to the beack ASAP... We need backup...

Amaya: Yes... *goes to the beach, still hidden* .... *aims at the crafts and
thinks: Sorry.... I didn't mean to betray you...* .... *shoots at the crafts and

the enemy and makes them fall asleep but she noticed daniel and thinks: he's not
a normal soilder.....* ..... *hides in the shadows* .....
Daniel noticed the landing crafts stopping abruptly and the artillery barrage
hitting the empty water just ahead of them...
"Dammit! How the hell did they predict the barrage! Gimme a phone
now!" he yelled, making one of the orderlies jump and hand him

"Artillery Battery 23, redirect your fire to blah blah blah! (corrects
coordinates so they'll attack where the crafts are). Now communicate me with the
USS Renegade!" he ordered another of the orderlies, making them jump
again...
"USS Renegade, I am Lieutenant Daniel Fortune requesting a heavy 500mm+
artillery barrage at coordinates blah blah blah! (Dictates another set of
coordinates to fire in front of the landing crafts) and another 250mm+ barrage
at coordinates blah blah blah! (Coordinates aiming behind from where the crafts
were...)"

"Let's soo how they manage to get outta this one..." he said in a
whisper... and picked up his binoculars to see the effect of his
barrage...

if controlled by some magic force... almost every gun on the island silenced...
And almost as soon as they silenced... His left arm was pierced by a searing

"Dammit! Who the hell!" he said, and almost as if by destiny he saw
that girl... the one who hadn't taken the shot earlier before... but, now she
had, and still had not opted to kill him... He maintained eye contact with
her...
"Should I shoot her? No... What does she
want? Why has she not killed me after 2 clear opportunities to do so?! What the
hell is going on in this island! It's supposed to be a war and apart from me...
she's the only one doing some sort of action... Gah! stupid ISJN!"
Amaya: *Says softly, it seemed to be to Daniel but also sounded as if she was
talking to herself* What's the use of war...? ISJN thinks they're protecting
their country from USSMC....But USSMC thinks they're protecting their island

his life for any of his teammates or his country, and I'd sure do the same...

hell of a woman... And she never told me anything about making a promise to no
one from the ISJN!"
"Baka baka baka (idiot idiot idiot)!" she began crying and then one of
the ISJN shot at Daniel. She quickly pushed daniel out of the way and dashed at
her own side and kicked him in his stomach "Sorry..." She hit the man
on his head and poked him neck with a needle and he fanited. She picked up the
man's gun and broke it in half "If I wanted to... You would be dead by
now... Head chopped into pieces... It's not your duty... You chose to be a bird
in a cage... And I thought I was foolish... You're more foolish than I
am..." she pointed her gun at him and shot at his leg because there was an
ISJN looking at her so she acted "Stupid USSMC! So weak! I could kill you
with one shot! You know... I change my mind... I'll bring you to the torture
chamber... " she grabbed daniel's hands and tied him and whispered in his
ear "Just play along for a while... " when she got out of the ISJN's
sight she set him free "Hehe... I saved you twice already..." she sat
under a tree and took her mask of and she suprisingly had a smooth face and was
pretty, she didn't seem like a war soilder at all.

but... the moment she took her mask off, he was astounded by her beauty. he
forgot almost all the pain he was feeling, and was just dazzled by

onto the clocktower, she was so light that when she jumped on the edge of the
clocktower it didn't break even though it was so old. She reached the top before
daniel and she sat on the roof of the clocktower, swaying her legs, the wind
blew her cape away and her hair shone in the sunlight "Hey.... You're so
slow.... And I thought you were powerful.... Come on.... We don't have all
day..." The wind blew againts her and the light shone over her, she dazzled
as if she was made of glitter.

Daniel picked up the ringing phone beside him on his foxhole
"Yes?" "Lieutenant! I have a matter of great importance for you! You must come back to HQ immediately!" "Yes, Sir!"
Daniel: "Hayabusa! Dammit where are you?" Hayabusa appeared from behind some rocks. "Yes, Sir?" "You take charge, I must go to HQ and attend some matters of importance" "Ok, Sir" Daniel left and Hayabusa started ordering people around...
((Yeah, this is the actual island Iwo Jima. Do you know that the beaches of Iwo Jima are filled with volcanic sand?))
Tanaka: Alright! You two take the east side, and you three take the west side!
Soldiers: Roger!
Dave: USS Renegade! Retreat at once!
USS Renegade: Roger! *USS Renegade retreats while the IJSN shoots at the island*
Toby: Communicate with Tanaka! Tell him to kill the people at the landing barges!
Comm. officer: Yes, sir!
Tanaka: *picks up the ringing phone* Yes?
Comm. officer: You and your squadron are ordered to kill the people at the landing barges!
Tanaka. Yes, sir!
((Meanwhile))
Kojimo: *whispering* What's up with that guy? *points at Amaya*
Ryu: I don't know...
Ryusei: IJSN Scimitar! Bombard the island!
IJSN Scimitar: Yes, sir! *IJSN Scimitar starts to bombard the beach with cannons*
((At the USSMC base))
Soldier: Landing barges incoming!
Toby: Shoot them!
Dave: Landing barge at the beach! *the USSMC soldiers shoot the IJSN soldiers while the other landing barges hit the beach*
Amaya: .... *puts weird looking bullets in her gun and she was great at aiming and she shot all the USSMC soilders at the front row on the neck but they didn't die, instead they fell asleep and she thinks: Sorry sorry! I can't help feeling sorry!* ... *continues making the enemies sleep, she had great aim than glares at kojimo and mutters to herself* I'm not a guy.... *remembers she was dressed like a guy and thinks: Oh... Though... That's pretty insulting...*
Daniel: *picks up the radio and contacts the neareast artillery emplacement*
"Target the landing crafts coming towards the beach! The coordinates are: blah blah blah! (says the coordinates). Fire at will!" *hangs up the phone... then turns towards the landing crafts at the beach, mans the machine gun in his foxhole and starts shooting the invaders*
Radio to amaya: Amaya Kyoko... Please go to the beack ASAP... We need backup... *
Amaya: Yes... *goes to the beach, still hidden* .... *aims at the crafts and thinks: Sorry.... I didn't mean to betray you...* .... *shoots at the crafts and she could control the movement* ... *forces the crafts to not move* ... *aims at the enemy and makes them fall asleep but she noticed daniel and thinks: he's not a normal soilder.....* ..... *hides in the shadows* .....
Daniel noticed the landing crafts stopping abruptly and the artillery barrage hitting the empty water just ahead of them...
"Dammit! How the hell did they predict the barrage! Gimme a phone now!" he yelled, making one of the orderlies jump and hand him one...
"Artillery Battery 23, redirect your fire to blah blah blah! (corrects coordinates so they'll attack where the crafts are). Now communicate me with the USS Renegade!" he ordered another of the orderlies, making them jump again...
"USS Renegade, I am Lieutenant Daniel Fortune requesting a heavy 500mm+ artillery barrage at coordinates blah blah blah! (Dictates another set of coordinates to fire in front of the landing crafts) and another 250mm+ barrage at coordinates blah blah blah! (Coordinates aiming behind from where the crafts were...)"
Daniel hanged up the phone...
"Let's soo how they manage to get outta this one..." he said in a whisper... and picked up his binoculars to see the effect of his barrage...
((500mm+ is a measure for a cannon... a very big cannon... such cannons do not even exist nowadays, but since its the far future... oh and so is 250mm+ though that measure has existed already... hehe))
Amaya: that's it... *makes all of her own side not fight* ....Hehe.... I'll be the enemy for you... *smiles, she was extremely skilled in heavy weapons, bombs and intelligence* .... *still wore a cloak and a mask* ... *takes out a huge gigantic laser cannon* Sees who's bigger..... *shoots and the enemy falls asleep but daniel was still standing* ... Ugh... You're getting annoying... *takes a gun and aims at daniel but her hand was still trembling as always* ...... *shoots but she only hurts him, she didn't aim at any parts that would kill him* ......
Daniel: "What the hell is wrong with you people! WAKE UP! WE HAVE AN ISLAND TO DEFEND! AARRGGHH!" as much as he yelled, no one would wake up... then as if controlled by some magic force... almost every gun on the island silenced... And almost as soon as they silenced... His left arm was pierced by a searing pain...
"Dammit! Who the hell!" he said, and almost as if by destiny he saw that girl... the one who hadn't taken the shot earlier before... but, now she had, and still had not opted to kill him... He maintained eye contact with her...
"Should I shoot her? No... What does she want? Why has she not killed me after 2 clear opportunities to do so?! What the hell is going on in this island! It's supposed to be a war and apart from me... she's the only one doing some sort of action... Gah! stupid ISJN!"
Amaya: *Says softly, it seemed to be to Daniel but also sounded as if she was talking to herself* What's the use of war...? ISJN thinks they're protecting their country from USSMC....But USSMC thinks they're protecting their island from ISJN.... What weird people... *noticed she hurt Daniel enough* .... *places her gun on the floor* ...... *sat down quietly* .... I'm tired of fighting... Do what you want....
Daniel gritted his teeth...
"And what the hell is a girl like you doing here if you despise war so much? This is a battle zone! People, nations, groups... they battle in battle zones because they can't solve their problems any other way... So... this sacred battle ground, where many have died in pursuit of ideals, honor, and their duty, is the place where each fighter shows their best of their best... And that includes me...
Now if you leave it up to me... I'd say, the war should go on... HAS to go on... a side must win... it is how both our nations have decided it... and it is how it shall end..." Daniel stood up straight, despite the fact his arm was destroyed inside... his bones crushed...
Amaya suddenly shouted in anger
"SO YOU CALL MUDERS HEROES?!?!" Amaya calmed down "You can't fight... A person like you.... Blood thirsty.... You will never be able to protect anyone... What are you fighting for...? For honor... Duty... Ideals... You destroy the lives of people who have people who care about them....." stands up and walks to him and she gently holds his arm "Sorry..." bandaged it and moved away "I won't let anyone fight you... Or for you... Because I kept a promise.... Because you're her son..." she stood in the shadows without a word
Daniel looked at his arm... He was grateful for her healing, but at the same time full of rage and about to explode for what she had just said...
"Blood... thirsty? Little missy, I joined the USSMC because it is my duty, since I was born, to defend my country, whatever the cost... Murdering heroes you say? Heroes indeed, and yes they do kill other people, but unfortunately, that is what a war is... Two countries fight each other... and people die... I fight for my country! I fight for what's right! And that is the survival of my country's ideals! I do not know a soldier in my platoon that wouldn't give up his life for any of his teammates or his country, and I'd sure do the same...
And what the heck are you sayin'? Her son? My mother, her soul R.I.P., was a hell of a woman... And she never told me anything about making a promise to no one from the ISJN!"
Daniel sat on a sandbag and rested...
"Baka baka baka (idiot idiot idiot)!" she began crying and then one of the ISJN shot at Daniel. She quickly pushed daniel out of the way and dashed at her own side and kicked him in his stomach "Sorry..." She hit the man on his head and poked him neck with a needle and he fanited. She picked up the man's gun and broke it in half "If I wanted to... You would be dead by now... Head chopped into pieces... It's not your duty... You chose to be a bird in a cage... And I thought I was foolish... You're more foolish than I am..." she pointed her gun at him and shot at his leg because there was an ISJN looking at her so she acted "Stupid USSMC! So weak! I could kill you with one shot! You know... I change my mind... I'll bring you to the torture chamber... " she grabbed daniel's hands and tied him and whispered in his ear "Just play along for a while... " when she got out of the ISJN's sight she set him free "Hehe... I saved you twice already..." she sat under a tree and took her mask of and she suprisingly had a smooth face and was pretty, she didn't seem like a war soilder at all.
Daniel had imagined, from the physiognomy of her, that she was indeed a girl... but... the moment she took her mask off, he was astounded by her beauty. he forgot almost all the pain he was feeling, and was just dazzled by her...
"Play along? Where are you taking me?" Daniel whispered to her...
She looks at him with a cold stare, the thing that stood out most was her cold, emotionless, deadly eyes. It was the only darkness on her. She pointed at the sky "The clocktower...." She held his hand and ran, she reached a old tall clocktower "Lets see who gets there first..." She smiled, she seemed so happy but it was her voice and her eyes that were dark. She jumped, onto the clocktower, she was so light that when she jumped on the edge of the clocktower it didn't break even though it was so old. She reached the top before daniel and she sat on the roof of the clocktower, swaying her legs, the wind blew her cape away and her hair shone in the sunlight "Hey.... You're so slow.... And I thought you were powerful.... Come on.... We don't have all day..." The wind blew againts her and the light shone over her, she dazzled as if she was made of glitter.
