Naruto or Sasuke? What's more difficult never knowing the love of a family and always being alone or knowing that love and then losing it?

Umm...this is a difficult question to answer. Some would say Naruto because he has always been rejected and alone, and that the greatest tragedy is that he has never known love, but then you can't miss something you've never had, you can long for it though. And then some would say Sasuke because even though he was loved by his family and fellow villagers, he then has to suffer the pain of losing them all, which can be pretty brutal. In the end though I have to say I don't know if there is a right answer. At least I can't give one.

I think Sasuke had it worse. I mean they both had very hard childhoods. Naruto was alone, and was looked at as a monster by the villagers, and grew up with no one at all who cared about him. However Sasuke had to deal with the fact that his role model, his older brother, murdered his entire clan and his parents expect for him, leaving him alive and causing him to live a life only of revenge. Naruto was able to overcome his loneliness, because he found friends who love him, but I don't think Sasuke will ever stop being lonely, even if he kills Itachi.

Both I suppose... I have to agree with ASH-Hikari at some points... Gaara had it bad too...

I think Sasuke had the harder childhood.. Naruto didn't have a family from the beginning, so he didn't know the feeling of having to lose one; whereas Sasuke had a "perfect" family at first -- with a responsible father, a loving mother, and an older brother that could protect him -- it must be very hard for him to know that his very own brother (that he greatly admires) is the reason that his own clan is now gone..

Ohhh! tough question. they both had it equally bad. buuuttttttt.... thinking about it, Sasuke was tortured(pretty much) by his borther, and Having no family to go to has made him the way he is today. that's also one of the reasons why he left for the sound village. Naruto, Being all alone, never knowing a family, would never know of what sasukee had to go through. But if you think real hard, Naruto was rejected by everyone. Sasuke wasn't. Sasuke was the most popular guy at the ninja academy, where naruto was known as a Dunce and a troblemaker. He didn't have any friends at first. sasuke could have had all the friends in the world, but naruto couldn't. I think naruto had it worse, because most of the village rejected him, including his classmates. Despite what the fourth Hokage told everyone, no one listened, and treated him like dirt.

When looking at both of them, it is extremely hard to definitly say who had the harder childhood. I would say that they both had it equally hard, just that their situations are very different, even though there are some similarities like they were alone and all. But Sasuke had the love of his family to start off with while Naruto never had anyone until Iruka became part of his life.

hmm? I would have to say Sasuke because he saw every one die in front of his eyes and Naruto was too little and was alone from the start. But then you got the whole no one liking Naruto because of the nine taled fox and everyone always liked Sasuke. I still say Sasuke had it the hardest but i gues its the way that you look at it

Umm definitely Sasuke,poor guy,he lost his family.His brother betrayed the clan and of course him and his mother and father.Sasuke loved his brother very much when he was younger,also he loved his mother and his father the most probably.But the feeling of being betrayed by someone close is really painful(I know this from my own experience within my family,but my mother gives me support so I can manage to get over these stuff)So yeah Sasuke had it harder.Yeah it s tough not being accepted by anyone and be considered a freak by everybody just because you re different.Poor Naruto.(poor Gaara too,although he s not in the list,his father tried to kill him and he was very young.When you are young stuff like this can mark you for life and Gaara is a very good example:he went insane).Naruto for wanting to be just a little noticed he did silly stuff like pranks only to be recognized as someone,and that s why he want s to become hokage.But still there are people who do love him and recognize him... like Iruka.

I have to admit sasuke defitnly does how much more tramic can it get your own borther killing your whole clan I think it is to me.

It was the childhood of Sasuke. At least, the people of Konoha were not died and all of the clan Uchiha were killed by Itachi, brother of Sasuke.
