I curse the Gods for uncertain views
of repeated faces over others
how unfair to pick on innocents
their rage must fetch revenge.

Remember they’re ghostly
turning around roughly cold
to grip your neck and rip it apart
ready to chase you in your sleep.

I’m just another ghost
in the ghostly world of yours
lurking the darkness for some light
searching for plays and comebacks.

Is a fading laugh
towards a crying one
a give and get of oneself
the very lying truth I convey.
