iq tests are usually based of off problem solving skills and pattern
recognition... so they are a poor judge of someone's true intelegence... what
do you define as intelegence? if you think solving problems is the only mesure
of "smarts" you might want to look at those around you a bit more -

I completely agree. IQ tests may test what you know but they can't judge what a
person's true knowledge is.... just being able to answer a few answers on a test
can't possibly tell you how smart [or not smart] you are.

I've taken an official mensa IQ test and got 128, not enough

It's not accurate. Most of the questions use a previous knowledge which greatly influences your score. I know for a fact that I am *not* a genious.
True IQ tests do not use previous knowledge.
