Minitokyo by one of my friends. Well, not really told ABOUT it but all she said
was to go and make an account. She never told me what to do then. So would
someone kindly mind telling me atleast the basics about the place? Any info of
use is welcome. Thank you.

Yes, yes, I know the correct term is "otaku" but I as you can see I
had a brain fart at the time I wrote that. Hmm... Oh, I don't really have one
but I think you can set up a myspace-esque page for yourself here too.
Here are a bunch of links you will find extremely useful. There's no use just
taking what I'm typing here, because most likely I won't cover everything.
Basically, this is an anime art community - though you don't have to contribute
art, you can hang around the forums, reply people's guestbook messages, make a
few friends or choose to hang around the groups or submit anime reviews.
All good participation (ie. participation positive to the community complying
with the Policy) will lead to credits, which can be used for things like making
groups, submitting artwork, creating threads and most importantly, downloading
images if you decide to download more than 5 images within 24 hours.
