Could you please elaborate on why you like these brands? Because I don't see the
point of this thread. All people will say is "I like *list*" and
that's it.
I'll leave this thread open for the meantime, but if there's little discussion
as to why these brands are more accepted than others, then I (or someone else)
won't have any other choice but to close this thread.
For the record though, my absolute favourite brand that's well known would be
DKNY because the designs are stylish, but they will burn a hole in anyone's
pocket.
... now when I reply to this thread, I really can't see where the discussion is
headed But anyway...
Okay, well, I like high street brands too, because you can get stuff straight
off the catwalks on the cheap. Topshop, Zara and H&M are all great, but
there's a limit to how low-end you can go. If there are any British members here
they'll understand my aversion to Primark. That stuff tears when you touch it,
for heaven's sake.
And that's why designer stuff is the best. You feel, and usually look good
wearing it. So for that reason my favourite top brands are Betsey Johnson and
Marc by Marc Jacobs. Ah they feel so nice to wear!
It's true; there isn't REALLY any point to this thread. It's just a good way of
expressing yourself, in a way, maybe?
I never was too big on the "name" brands, when I lived in the states
it was normally walmart or a variation there of...I just don't see why people
like these name brand clothing when it does cover you and keeps you from the
elements, who cares the name on it...plus the more name brand the more robberies
come along...can't understand people's obsessions sometimes
american eagle, abercrombie and fitch, holister, banana republic.... maybe
diesel , some stuff from them... and maybe urban behavior (* to be honest i
don't really care about the name brand stuff but..... if the fabric is soft i
want it =).. or!..... if the letters stick out!.. i want it ....
or.... if material is good )
Hmm... I don't really shop widely. When I do go shopping I tend to look for
stuff that's never really going to go out of fashion... but of course never will
be totally in fashion either.
If I had to name brands: uhh, I guess Colorado. Their stuff's all pretty
comfortable and hard wearing... at least what I've bought so far.
The other one, and this is probably my favorite, would be Mountain Designs.
They're an Australian adventure clothing company. Everything they sell seems to
fit well, look good, is comfortable and insanely hard wearing. I've had a couple
of sets of slacks from them which I've worn practically every day since 2004 and
they're still going strong. Plus they do a lot of work with advanced fabrics and
stuff, so living in a hot climate they breath well.
I like Zara, Calvin Klein, Armanie. What abt u guys?
dun wry know why i like it, i just like expensive brands lol (yea im a show off... cannot is itttt)
Zara services sux though. at least in my country... (sg)
they ignore u. and u try the fit and dun buy they'll bastard you behind ur back
At least they got variety

Lucky 13, NVA, Levis, Doc Marten, Converse, BC Ethic, Armani, Florsheim, others I can't think of off hand.
