I've been in a manga reading mode lately and think some of these manga series
out there would make great anime. So my question to you is...what manga have you
read lately that you believe would make a great anime? Just out of curiosity,
what manga, that has already been adapted into an anime,do you think needs to be
redone?
My picks...
Platinum Garden: A story that is reminiscent of Fruits Basekt. The story centers
around a girl by the name of Kazura. Her grandfather passes away and when the
will is read it was stipulated that Kazura would become Mizuki Magahara's fiance
to pay off the grandfather's debts to him. She goes to live with Mizuki and
discovers that Mizuki has a special ability related to a family curse. I won't
divulge more because you should read it for yourself.
Her Majesty's Dog: A story that reminds one a little of Inuyasha. The story is
about a girl, Amane, who is a psychic and has a demon dog boy as a guardian.
Hmm...i think that Vampire Knight would definitely be a best seller. It's about
a girl who attends a school where both humans and vampires coexist. Her adopted
brother becomes a vampire along with her childhood savior (he always was one
though). And then shes a paart of this whoole crazy love triangle. gah, it would
be amazing if it were an anime!
Beauty Pop! Lol. I know I know, probably the lamest to pick, but I like shoujo.
It's funny too...... at least, I think it is. You can find a description on the
wikipedia. It's also serialized in Ciao! and Shoujo Beat, both sold in Japan,
and Shoujo beat is in Canada and America.
Well, I don't know if everyone knows this yet, but it's just been announced that
the manga series Blade of the Immortal is set to have an anime produced, though
we don't know who's doing it. If it's a good studio like Madhouse or Gainax,
though, it will definetely be the next best anime series, IMHO.
I'd love to see W Juliet in anime form; I think it would be interesting to see
how it dealt with the theatrical elements-would it teach us anything about the
experience? High school student Ito Miura, the co-main character and tomboy,
meets Makoto Amano, the attractive new transfer student who wants to join the
school's drama club, of which Ito is a member/female president. Inviting Makoto
over to her house, Ito learns that Makoto, who was introduced to the story and
characters as a woman, is actually a boy who must graduate the last two years of
high school as a female-without anyone finding out-in order to follow his dream
of becoming an actor "...you'll have to go through school as a girl. Do
that, and I'll let you do what you want. A real actor should be able to pull
that off. If you do it, you've got your choice of jobs.") If discovered,
Makoto must return home and do as his father wishes: becoming the head of his
family's dojo.
Also, Suki, Dakara Suki ("I Like You, That's Why I Like You") would
be fascinating to see in an animated style, and it probably would have thirteen
episodes. This three-volume series tells the story of sixteen-year-old Hinata
(known as "Hina" to her friends) Asahi, a rather naive girl, who
develops a crush on her 32-year-old neighbor/long-term substitute teacher, Shiro
Aso, who may or may not be the safest person to have feelings for.
I'd like 'Cafe Kichijouji de' made into an anime, it's already in Drama CD and
manga form. Don't know why no one wants to make it into an anime... The plot's
kind of loose, but I'm sure the producers can overcome that. The art's pretty
nice as well, and the comedy and characters are hilarious, although not very
logical.
Shinshi Doumei Cross by Arina Tanemura...that manga is great...
Full Moon wo Sagashite turned out pretty well in the anime...maybe Shinshi
Doumei Cross could too...lol
All of the above mentioned, but I think 'High School of the Dead' would also
definitely make a great anime (of course pretty ecchi but ...) with its zombie
and scarcely covered girls in it. Vampire Knight would also be a hit I believe
... we haven't had anything with 'vampire' for a while.

I'd love Imadoki to be an anime. LOVE IT SO MUCH I read it a trillion times.
Also, I don't know if it's a manga, but Priceless by Young You Lee CRACKS ME UP,
i really wish it was on anime

Probably Plus (+) Anima...and vampire knight ^^
Yeah, vampire knight...^.^
I love that manga too...
Vampire Knight.
i think vampire knight, skip beat, beauty pop, and five would make awesome animes
it will have to be either vampire knight or absolute boyfriend
Hot Gimmick and A.I. Love You
I would say Fairy Tail! It could be such a good action anime! Ditto on the Skip Beat, I would love to see that become an anime.
MXO
it's should be blade of immortal .
Vampire Knight
It's a toss up between Semaiden and Immortal Rain. I enjoy both of those.
Maybe Blade of inmortal...
