umm this is my second general wallpaper. before i officially post it up on the
website, perhaps anybody out there could give me a few tips as to how to improve
my work. does it look a little too plain? i'd really appreciate it
Well, it's cute, but... I don't know how to say this, but I feel it doesn't
quite fit. I can't really place my finger on it, but some thing's not right
here...
First, I think you should make it at a higher resolution. I don't even think MT
accepts such small wallpapers. The minimum you should have is 1024 x 768.
Also, the clouds in the background look repetitive. If you used brushes, try
making them a bit more diverse, more random.
Hmm..I think the penguin at the rightmost looks like it has a hump on it?
Besides that, the clouds (especially those at the bottom right corner look
noisy. Gaussian blur might do the trick.
The gate also looks awkward, like it's appearng out of nowhere. The area is
open, why the need of a gate? I suggest placing fences at its left and
right.
