this is my second wallie effort, tried to do my best, please give me advices and
critics so i can improve on my future works!
I tried to give an serene and lovely impression on this wallie, used Photoshop
CS2 to make it, i know that the extraction may be lacking quality but i'll try
to get better extractions on the future. And I made this one especially for a
friend of mine ^^
Used custom brushes, blur, texture and fade "ghosting"
effects
Hmm..I think the background is too simplistic, with generic top & bottom
borders and star & maple brushes stamped on all throughout.
Suggestions for improvement:
-Create a 'virtual landscape' for her, such as a japanese house, the sky or
perhaps some sakura trees in the background, something that would suit her.
-If you don't like landscapes, consider using vectors and textures to create an
abstract background.
-Personally, I find that one of her in the background would be more beautiful
than 4 of her. Doing that only serves to make the wallpaper look repetitive and
boring.
Not bad for a second wallpaper though, and it's great that you're willing to
accept constructive criticism in order to improve. Keep going!
