My name is aozoraskies and I am a mostly ordinary teenager. I should have done
this a lot earlier but I had put it off unil now. I joined Minitokyo 15 weeks
ago and so far, submitted one wallpaper. That was actually a sort of test so
that i could see whether or not i could contribute to this site or not..I hate
making accounts when I cant really help out the site, you see..I cant donate
money unfortunately...so dont ask for that
Like most here, I love anime! I admit to have a somewhat inconsistent taste... I
watch and almost want to cry with sad scenes in Maria-sama ga Miteru at one
point and am totally cold towards Clannad at another... I revelled in the
sword-fighting in both Rurouni Kenshin and Gun X Sword but gave up on Naruto and
Bleach...and I always seem to love deeper stuff like Kino no Tabi and Ghost In
The Shell (2 completely different shows, I know, I know) yet cherish the simpler
feel of that like Kamichu and Absolute Boy. Well, what to do....
Aside from anime, I like reading, drawing, paintng, good live-action shows and
being with great people.
I have recently rekindled a liking for book illustrations...Coincidentally some
people I will call Çer and Ribs recenly lent me a book all abut
storybook illustrations, "Magic Pencils". I savoured the different
styles and uses of media I saw and hoped I could one day achieve that standard.
My latest wallpaper is somewhat inspired by a storybook illustration I got ages
ago from Ribs. It was a book about the pioneer years of America and the pony
express was still being used...wonderful oils were used and scenes were painted
out beautifully and with such lovely textures...because of that, subconsciously
I made the sky in my wall so. But I only realised after it was all done.
Well, I hope to meet new (but not too dangerous :P) people. Age isn't a problem
to me, I should think. In fact, in real life I sometimes get along better with
my juniors and older (but nice ones only) teachers. Still, I have good
relationships with everyone overall...except a few that got me into trouble and
didnt seem apologetic at all. Well sometimes vice versa but in my case, it's
usually totally unintentional and I always feel so darn guilty about it
afterwards...even if I couldn't have done anything about it anyway.

oh yes, thought I should mention this. My username was actually a kind of
mistake. see, for some reason, I got lost in translation and thought that aozora
meant blue=_="". apparently it does not. And it was rather obvious.
aoi = blue . sora = sky. aozora = blue sky/skies . so my username ended up
meaning ... blue skies skies . Or Skies of the Blue Skies. Sheesh. never mind it
sounds like a riddle anyway. and it IS gong to be my username for a long while.
Blue is actually azure, just wanted to point it out.
Anyway, welcome to MT.
I myself have toned down on action flicks and mostly watch comedy romance and
drama anime for some reason.
The book you read sounds really interesting, maybe I'll try to find a copy
somewhere.
I'm a decent person at hear, so that means I'm not evil.
