Colombia, just in case...
Well, to the point. I have a webpage and I want to use some of your images, but
contacting each person that posted the image might be quite a long work so...
Well... I thought of two options.
1. I post the link to the original image in here
2. I post the images and include a strong disclaimer and a copyright notice. I
also run a small fan site for a MMORPG so I know how to follow copyright laws
and issues.
I just hope a moderator can shed me some light about what can I do. I also
thought about posting thumbnails with a link to the full size image in
here.
Well, my site is about Red Stone, a kinda new MMORPG. It seems quite nice so I
decided to create a fansite for the latin community (Im a native Spanish speaker
you know).
About the scans and pics... I think that asking for permission to each and every
person that submitted the image or scan is somehow diffucult if I take into
account how many images I would like to post... anyhow I'm not posting in my
website any images that belong to someone here in MT. Just to make sure. BTW I
found and posted an image in my site (I found it in a wallpaper site) and
looking closely to it I discovered that the source is here. Should I report
that? Should I also delete it from my site? Any advice is welcome.
