In the Catholic religion there are so called "Seven Deadly Sins" they are Wrath, Greed, Envy, Pride, Sloth, Gluttony, Lust...Okay the question for you all now is which sin/s represents you(Your bad side) and why?

Ah the seven deadly sins, the things that represent all that is awesome in life. I can't exactly say which ONE represents me, I can only say which ones don't. Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony and Envy probably don't come across my mind all that often... but I'm greedy beyond belief, I have a massive superiorty complex and any person in their 20's that says they aren't looking to hump almost anything on two legs is a liar or castrated.

I'd say the one that represents me the best is Pride. I'm extremely prideful, and it often gets me into trouble. I've always hated asking questions when I don't understand something, and people (especially my dad) have told me that I'll never get along with people unless I stop worrying about my pride so much.

Hmm..good question. The one that represents me a little is probably envy. I don`t like that though but I can`t stop it. There is this one person I really envy sometimes and sometimes not. It`s really weird. But there are other people, normal people whom I don`t even know and I envy them. There are certain reasons for that but..umm...I won`t tell them. ^^

Pride, envy and wrath. I have too much pride...Sometimes I know I should do as some people says so but then I still don't do it.Pr ide makes me argue with my family quite a lot... I envy people often too, friends, family...I envy way too much and I hate people too much too...Actually, I hate things too. Life, items, emotions. I know it's a stupid thing but...Yeah. Hard to let go.

Hmmmm well I guess the sins that represents me the most would be wrath and sloth. I get frustrated and angry really easily, although I might not show it. And damn it, I am lazy. Lol.

Envy's for me(^_^)'

wrath, greed, and gluttony. and maybe sloth.

Wrath is probably the closest, and sloth even though I cycle about 10.5 miles most days.

of all the "sins" I believe Wrath would be the one of my "bad side" I have stories about that one, but since no one would believe them I'll keep them to myselves, but wrath is the bad of me :D

Wrath. My worst and most common sin.

Pride and Sloth for me xD

Sloth. I'm lazy as heck.

Hmm... The starter of this topic should have defined the 7 sins. Specifically what makes them "DEADLY" as sins. Like wrath for example as not referring to the quickness in anger but its use to treat other people, i.e. hitting, killing people out of anger.

As for what sin embodies me? I guess none. I am SATAN! Bwahahahahaha!

If you're Satan you could have helped me on this you know...Well I'm not really sure what makes them "DEADLY" but I think some are confused on the other sins(a lot of you answer wrath for a possible reason that their easily angered) so I'm just here to point out what they really meant

Lust-Yeah I know men comes first to mind on some, its usually obsessive or excessive thoughts or desires of a sexual nature that leads to rape, adultery, incest, and bestiality(Don't make me explain it)

Gluttony-Over-indulgence and over-consumption of anything to the point of waste or in other words excessive desire of food

Greed-Excessive desire of wealth or any material possession simple as that

Sloth-Simply laziness or if you want it more profound...its putting off what people asks you to do or not doing anything at all

Wrath-Yeah like aexiel said its not quickness in anger but uncontrollable feelings of hatred and anger, it usually manifests in violence and revenge

Envy-Hmm...how should I put this...its the same as greed but this is more like you want to have what they have that you don't have by any means necessary(anyone understood that?)

Pride-I like to call it conceit or arrogance...of course this is excessive desire to be important and from all the sins this considered the most serious since the other 6 could arise form it

I hope you got enlighthened on what I said(or you just slept on the entire lecture which is fine for me)

The sins are considered 'Deadly' because they all, in some way, compromise one's relationship and perception of God and Christian values. For example, Pride causes one to see oneself as being more important than God, and goes against the Virtue (opposite of the Sins) of Humility/Modesty. Ones soul is then in turn at risk of being damned to Hell, or at least risks receiving some form of divine retribution in life.

Mine are simple and I try to get them away from my head:pride, wrath and sloth.I hate it whenever I make mistakes or say something stupid because of one of these "sins".

You forget I am Satan so why should I help you? Right? Hehe. >:D

I suppose the greatest sin of those seven that applies more strongly to me is sloth. There are many things that I should do or things that I would like to achieve but I don't fight for them. Why is that?
Maybe because I'm scared of pursuing them, maybe because I find hard to let myself believe in God and myself and find more easy to just indulge myself in a slower state that the one that I can achieve. I do believe in God, but I haven't yet put all my faith in Him. I am still worried about the perversity and hardness of the world and don't appreciate myself as much as I should since I am a child of God. I'm happy though cause I am aware of my faults, so, at least in theory, I can change myself to be better. From those seven sins, I consider that two are the least present in my life: greed and gluttony. Good threat
P.S. Have you seen Full Metal Alchemist? There you can see the homunculus, creatures created by alchemists who tried to bring back to life their loved ones. There are 7 homunculus, each having the name of one of the seven deadly sins. It's a great story with wonderful characters. Sad though. If you haven't seen it try it out.
