Anime's basicly my likfe to. If it dies, I'll probably pass away with it. But I
doubt it will, mainly because anime is not an English country product, it's
Japanese. Did you know that anime gets shown prime time over there? That's how
strong it is. Also, the influx of freshly licensed material is amazing. Five
years ago, it'll be a few years until an anime got licensed. Then Pokemon,
Digimon and Dragonball Z got licensed and the little kids started throwing money
at the industry (literally). Now, fansubbers can't even finish a series before
it gets licensed, meaning anime is only getting more popular.
If anime does die out, chances are it wont be in our lifetime (I'm serious here
too). As long as it has a strong money intake, anime will keep comming. Plus,
anime also saved Japan from depresion and economic downfall itself (so I read.
Chances are I'm wrong), so I don't think Japan will put an end to anime there,
which means if the little kids get bored of Pokemon, Digimon and the others,
there'll always be fansubs.
Its a part of the tradition of the far east, it won`t die - maybe there will be
less commercial productions which is good ! : ) (hate the pkmn thingy but the
game is nice on the GB )
Well this announcement sure won't help:
C21Media.net reports that ADV Films, FUNimation and Geneon Entertainment
announced at Mipcom today a joint venture to encourage growth in the anime
market
anime's my life. no anime no life, lets just hope that day nver comes
it will though. everything passes.
same as me
i don't even want to think of it ! life would be too plain
without it ! i would be bored... all nightmares would be a joke compared to that

Theyre coming after the hard working fansubbers
As long as we keep paying for this stuff, it'll never go away. =) Don't worry about it
