I've just discussed this matter with my gf, who believes in the existence of
God. I rather believe in Evolution though.

I'd like to believe there's a god. However I don't think that one religion is
right and another one is wrong. I like to think that all the religions have the
same basic idea (i.e. treat people nice etc.) but that in the different cultures
it just takes on different forms.
That being said I don't believe in creationism.....I'd rather like to think that
God, or whatever he/she is, could create through evolution. After all if God
created the Earth in 7 days what IS a day to a being that lives forever? One
day for he/she might be 10,000 years for us. *shrug*

lol yeah come to think of it, God 'created' light on the third (?) day, so the
first two weren't even days or whatsoever :S how could he know. But even if the
bible is correct, the 7 days are rather symbolical than history.
That's quite a difficult question since there is no real proof of his/her/it
existence.
It also depends on what do you think is god.
If you think god is like he/she/it is described in the books of Christianity,
Islam or whatever religion, then I don't think this god exists.
But if you think of god just as the creator of the multiverse and the one who
will (probably) judge over your life after it ends: yes, I believe there is such
an entity.
Some kind of proof: out of nothing, nothing can come into existence.
Somebody must have created matter or this universe would be just a big vacuum.

i never believed in g'd and all that religion stuff... cause my opinion was
always that religion destroyes the mind of ppl and are the result of wars and
hates... i still believe that in one way... but on another... something changed
the last few weeks in me...
i believe now a little bit that there is something out there and this something
might be g'd... but not as he stands in the books or described by others... like
he is the creator as universe or humanity...
the only one religion that i like and that i believe in someway is the jewish...
all my parents and family are catholics... so well i think im a outsider in my
family believing in the kabbala and in the jewish religion... they hate me all..
lol but its okey... cause it just stands the fact... that humans could just hate
for what u believe and thats sad...
That question is far beyond any proof or knowledge...even Big Bang is something
as a Thesis.So is a very very obscure question.I dont belive in God as an
Unity.God for me is the human unconsciousness.God is what mankind cannot
explain.The perfection of mind and magic.God cannot exist withouth people
praying for him/them.The so called "Creation" is very far of the known
Physics and religious knowledge.So...all is maybe,if and faith.Belive in your
story and stake your life on it.The magic of life is not to be studied just
respected.
I believe God and Hell both exist. Why? I can't proof it right now, but you will
know the answer after you die. Just wait until your time has come. You will know
whether God is exist or not.

personally i really despise religion, i say its for thr weak minded. people
can't handle how crappy life is so they need a reason to go on and to fall back
on which is the afterlife. as for a god, i dont think the god represented by the
various religions like christianity and such exist. But i am open to believe
there maybe an entity that canot be explained through science.

people cannot afford believing a god as a monkey/alien/ugly guy,right?At least
most of the world´s religions.You always see God as a beautiful

their beliefs. I was never an avid church goer and I only made it up to
communion. I believe in what I see.

is a being that is beyond comprehension, that is all knowing and almighty, to
know and comprehend God would put you on the same level as him. If God is beyond
comprehension to the human mind, then how is he perceived to be. Therefore,
there is no God.
Now with evolution, let's follow along the lines of Darwinism, which is
"survival of the fittest." In other words, in order to survive one
must adapt to it's surroundings and be able to protect itself. It has been shown
in some small instances that it is true. A fish, if you put a fish that is able
see in a pitch black cave, in time the generations of fish that were born off
that fish will adapt and will pretty much become nocturnal to the pitch black
cave (under) by lets say of gaining a better sense of hearing. There are also
fish a couple of thousand leagues under the sea that have a small
"light-bulb" in front of their eyes. Evolution does exist.
Let's say that there is a "God," he's certainly not doing a very good
job if there are diseases, depression, rape, murder, war, destruction, filth,
violence and poverty. In the great word's of George Carlin, "I'd rather
believe in Joe Pesci," but this is all really just how I see it, so don't
jump on my back.
I believe there is a supernatural power above that has the power to control
us....it maybe in the form of God or whatever but evolution seems like it can
use some help....lol

kind of pure gravitational field with an enormous density of energy and
curvature.

Religion is a tool to control people. I believe in what i experience 1st hand. Therefore i belive in no such god as of yet.
