but i'm wondering.. everyone is talking about DearS... what is it?? what is it
about? is it good... ^^;; sorry if im asking too much questions...
Well I haven't watched Chobits or anything although I do plan to watch it soon.
For DearS I think it's good. I'd give DearS an 8/10 or 79%.
It's a good anime, although not the best. The characters are really nice, and
the animation is very clean, although the fansub does look quite bright (perhaps
it's just the anime itself).
The two DearS are voiced by the two girls from Onegai (Please) Twins: Shimizu Ai
(Karen Onodera in Please Twins) as Ren, and Nakahara Mai (Mina Miyafuji in
Please Twins) as Miu.
My favorite character in DearS is Mitsuka sensei, voiced by my favorite seiyuu:
Inoue Kikuko.

yeaaa, kei-kun is right i give 8/10 i saw chobits and is a beautyfull anime
and DEars is a nother great anime i love it and i dont like when peolple
compare chobits and dears in the begining when i saw it and said (hey that
reminds me chobits) ^_^ but in true is very difirent the only thing i hate is de
final episode to fast grrrr

Yeah, it's a decent series, takes a different line from Chobits though, but I
enjoyed it nonetheless!
But as saren pointed out, the final episode leaves a few openings - would've
been nice if they had one more episode to finish it all off.
I hears that DearS have 13 episode and i can only find 12 episode form anime
keeps and 1 promo. i wonder if this is true.

DearS was not bad, but not that good either. It had more potencial in it.
The story is too short, they could have told us more about dears.

for the more eechi minded kids....(under 16) choosing in between....I would take
girls bravo anyday...same setup only much better.....
ERm,...I think the story is about some lucky fellow receiving nice outerspace
bishoujo in his place and some (outerspace nigger) from home planet tells him
about how destiny will god knows what and then blah blah eechi eechi eechi and
thengreat battle starts and then end with weak guy winning the game of the
gal.....
the question is that r there going 2 be more episodes of dearS because the
website i listed says something about it!
just 2 let u know im 17 and have a girl . me and her r just into animation

said earlier, that it could be longer, since we almost know nothing about dears.
Like the link says, the anime is from Studio Dome, but I don't know if it has a
homepage or not.
I think Dears is a good and watchable anime, maybe not the best anime around but
it is really funny to watch and some characters are really really funny ^_^
The similarity with chobits is true but i think dears is much more funny,
chobits was more seroius in the end.
And also Dears has the most beautiful ending i ever seen ^_^

Well... it's not reallt that good.. Kinda a Chobits clone or something, enjoyed chobits more though..

DearS is like Chobits, but with a more humorous, adult approach. Too bad the anime was short. I'm reading up on the manga rite now =)
