What was the most stupid, and most serious injury you've recieved! Preferably one you could have avioded, or did out of your own stupidity.

Mine, would be after three intense games of gruling and punishing basketball that resembled Burnout in some fasion, spraining my ankle walking down stairs. This wasn't a minor sprain though, I almost broke it. Within two minutes of the injury, my ankle was twice its normal size and turning blue. I didn't get to the doctors until 5 hours later, when they told me I'd torn every minor ligiment in my right ankle. I was out of action for four weeks, and I still can't play properly on it. It's bigger than my other ankle by a centimeter or so, and is prone to minot sprains now. All from walking down a flight of stairs *shakes fist at evil stairs*. There was this other one before my birth too.... but I won't get into that :P

mine was
when i'm 7 years old...
i across the street with no looking right-left to see if there any car would pass by
yeah..some stupid .
it's all because i see this SD-zaku lay dowm in the middle of the street.
*waw..this must be why i like gundam a lot*
i ran to it...
suddenly all went black..
and wow... i'm in home aready
*say to myself what the..??*
yeah i get bump with a truck.....
*can u believe it....*
well actually i coma for 3 day in hospital...
when i wake up there's a big surgery scar on my head..
well duno what happen
but hey, here i am , alive....
*thx double,triple time to god and the angel coz i'm still alive right now*
so.. anyone got some stupid injury...???

The most stupid injury I ever received would have to be when I got my first Boy Scout knife. It was so long ago now (30+ years) that I am not certain WHY it happened -- maybe to see just how sharp the blade was.

Anyhow, I managed to cut my left thumb and leave a scar (which is still visible today) that extends for about an inch in an arc that stops millimeters from that little joint line in your thumb where you bend it.

From what I understand, this was also one of the luckiest injuries I ever received, since if I had cut across that joint line on my thumb, I would have probably cut through the tendon that allows you to bend your thumb. This would have resulted in my becoming a right-handed person by force (southpaw, born and bred, and proud of it!).

Instead, I was able to make it with just a butterfly clamp (no stitches!) and since then have an exceedingly health respect for any object with a sharp blade..... ^_^'

o__o;; :: Cough. :: Well, when I was.. five? o__O Yeah, I think so.. my older cousin came to visit us from San Diego, California, and we were upstairs with my brother and sister. I can't remember the exact details, but we were playing around, and I was sitting in a laundry basket and being pushed down the stairs. o.o;; It was fun at first, until I broke my right arm.. -.o;; So I had to go see this.. chiropractor.. thingy.. o-o;; And he had to bend my bone back, and put this stinky type of stuff and my arm.. x__X I don't remember going to the hospital, though. >o<;;

But anyway, the last time I talked to my cousin, he was still apologizing for breaking for arm. o-o;; Even though it wasn't his fault. x.x;;

When I was around 8 or so, at recess I tried to jump over the end of a metal slide. I tripped on the edge and fell forward....let's just say I damaged (temporarily, thank Goddess) something very important to me. XD

Heheh, me...? Thankfully, my life has been relatively major-incident-free. Though I manage to pwn myself in little ways almost every day. :sweat: Like earlier (btw- i'm eighteen, in case you're thinking i'm six >_<) I ran my finger over a shaver blade because there was something stuck in it. Foolish.

The most major thing was probably when I was still in primary school. I used to sleep on the top bunk bed. Anyways, was jumping up and down up there, then slipped and went plummeting headfirst groundward. :hmpf: Landed my forehead solidly on the wooden armrest of a chair; bruise the size of an egg for a while. Lucky I didn't snap my neck like a twig, and I'm grateful.

Hm.. 1 get way i pwnd maiself ...

When i was about 9, mai older brother and sister were playin Hind and Seek at the mall, while bein chase by mai brother i ran into the metal clothe hanger and cut up mai stomach pretty bad, now i'm left with a scar that looks like the letter "j"

Biked down a hill with only one hand. Ended up with some serious roadrash.

almost a year ago i fell over and my leg went under me on some ice and i broke both sides of my right ankle as well as my leg. it still makes cracking noises if i rotate it and walks a little differently.
