One of the main features of any online community, an avatar is a digital representation of a user. As I look at them while reading the forums, there are often times which got me wondering...

1. Who or what is it?
2. Why did you choose the one you currently have?
3. How often do you change it?

My avatar is Princess Garnet from Final Fantasy IX. It is taken from a scene where she's on top of a castle tower in Lindblum while playing with birds, just when Zidane shows up. She is my favorite FF character because she is sweet and kind. Good-looking, too. ^_^
I don't change it often, but if I do, it'll be Garnet on a different pic with shorter hair.

2. why? well.. I hate my current avatar (da ava before dis one), so I was thinking of a new one. Then I remember I had this cook pic of Niwa so I had to use it. ^.^
3. rarely. I stick to my ava like half a year. ^.^

errr... I don't make avatar... and I didn't have any with thr rigth size so I more or less take the first one I find... well it's quite ok but I don't think I'll change it cause it took me a long time finding one.

2. Cause I'm into Gundam at the moment and its the only pic I could use without having
to modify it in anyway (no imaging software)

Mine just says my screenname. Rein. Then i put some grunge in the back, along with ym favorite color green I change it whenever i feel like changing it, but usually i just add animation or something... -explodes-

2. Kei resembles me or at least I want to resemble him, we have similar personalities, and his tan-ran jacket I want.
3. I haven't changed my avatar since level 1, the very first avatar was a Mizuho & Kei avatar (from the Shooting Star CD Single). I like this one, because this sets the scene where Kei thinks that nothing exciting is ever going to happen, pondering and staring outside the window.
