Anyone else have an opinion on this game? I bought it on Wednesday and was
immediately addicted to it. The graphics are stunningly beautiful, and I'm in
love with the battle system. Seems like it's a love/not love system for a lot
of people, but I think it's refreshing and makes for more interesting battles.
Also loving the music....<3 ^_^ Unfortunately, I can't find any tracks
online, and the (legal) OST seems hard to track down as well.
I absolutely love it. been playing it for 5 hours straight and I'll soon go back
for more.
And guess what, I didn't even turn the voices off(which is the main thing people
complain about). Either I got used to them, or they really aren't as bad as some
of the reviewers claim. Yes, some of the NPC sounds pretty bad, but as far the
main characters goes, they sounds pretty good to me. And I dunno if it's just
me, but it seems the quality of the voices gets a little bit better farther into
the game, or like I said, I'm just getting used to them.
Anyway with that said, I absolutely love the way this game looks. Those
environments are like moving paintings, gorgeous to look at. The combat spell
effects looks just as good aswell. And the one thing that most people we're
affraid was gonna be bad, turns out to be superb, of course I'm talking about
the battle system. In fact, it reminds me greatly of the Chrono Cross one. The
battle system feels great and best of all, it's a unique one too, never been
done before and I always appreciate anything that's new and works really
well.

Of course I'm far from finishing it(7-8 hours into it), so I'll wait before
making much comments on the plot and story. I don't have any problems with the
characters so far, I think they're pretty good and unique too. Story is starting
to pick up aswell.
I'm really enjoying it so far. I think any RPG's fan should go and get this
game, and those who want to try out something new should do the same.

hours into the game (kept getting sidetracked), and im on the final part!!some
of the voice acting is bad(NPCs) but most of the story characters sound great. i
wont reveal anything but this story gets GOOD the battle system allows for fast
paced strategy and combos anyone with a gamecube should get a copy immediately!
I also love this game, I bought it like a month ago and I love it too, the
graphics are awesome and the music is excellent, I'll also try to find the OST
in the web, if I find it I'll let you know
The battle sistem is also very good
Oh and about Metroid Prime 2, I also recomend it, I bought it past week and its
awesome too, this two games are really good I recomend both to you

mind-twisting!---you won't know the real bad guy/traitor till around the end!

By the way...when I bought Baten Kaitos, it came with a demo soundtrack 0_0 I
didn't even preorder it! Well...it's only got like 7 songs, and if you're
interested, MenchiBurger, just tell me...(though by now, you probably have it
^-^")

I think it's pretty awsome, but I have a couple of issues with it. The
animations for movement by the characters is a little stiff and robotic outside
of battle (not a huge problem). The voices sound like they were done through a
tin can, big problem, but I got over it. Oh yeah, I really hate when the only CG
I've seen for a game is before the title screen... That's annoying.
I haven't beaten the game, but I plan on it when I get back from school!
Decidely fun. I just started disc two, so I can't really vouch for the story,
but it's been pretty solid so far. I really like the maturation of the cards
over time, but I wish there was a way to reverse the process.

I was deciding between this game and Prime 2. I picked up Prime 2 instead. Good investment (don't let my other thread fool you!).
