HM... after playing Halo with the first controller (the Hamburger), I don't find
a problem if playing with a controller or a mouse in any FPS (yeah, I like the
big X controller )
it depends, i used to play JK:MOTS with pad and mouse. mouse with look and pad
with movement. with teh pad you can hotkey teh froce powers into 1 side which
was better than wasd because you didnt have to reach to hit froce powers, but
since lately you dont need as many hotkeys as you did in MOTS in UT2k4 i use pad
so i bind taunts to one side, thats all i use pad for now
welll i have played both halos and enough Half-life mods to say that both are
good in its own ways. If u get use to contoroller then you cna play it just fine
but i find u can get a bit mroe accuracty form mouse. THen again ive seen some
of my freinds own with contorllers so its jsut how good u are @ useing a certina

Ok, who here has the same problem I do from using keyboard and mouse (mouse look) to a controler for 1st perosn shooters
I don't like using a controller for FPS you just don't have the same controll you get with a keyboard and mouse.
yeah...I got used to mouse look with the first UT, tried it for PS2...i got smoked!
i find the mouse better and less confusing. I'm dumb enough to get confused by the controller @@'

i'm okay with controller, but mouseis best
simple, if you like your mouse, then play with teh mouse.. if not play with the controller instead..
HM... I've noticed that, with the addition of voice communication in online FPS, the use of keyboards and mouses is lower than before...

the controller is ok.... but i'd prefer to use a mouse in FPS games
On first person shooters, mouse + keyboard is much better than controller. Sadly you can't use mouse & keyboard with consoles.

mouse seems alot easier for shooting games
I love my controller (hugs) For the most part, I accept controllers only!! But I'll tolerate the mouse if I'm playing an FPS, but I don't like it.
That's why the only system I'll play a FPS on is... THE nintendo ds!!! It works like a mouse, feels like a controller... <3
I think that using a keyboard is kinda awkward but i prefer it.
i've always been much more of a console gamer than a pc gamer so controller all the way.
