I love those cut scenes from games like ffx and crimson tears etd.So i was
wondering if any1 knew how to save them onto the computer as video files? And if
so wot programs do i need?
I know you can do this, but I'm not sure how, but I think a program called
Alchohol 120% can do this. But again, I'm not sure by any means. I would try
searching on google for video game cut scenes PC video files (in that
order).
I know I haven't given you much information, but it should be enough to get you
started. Good luck on your search.
It gets a little difficult with PS2 games, unlike PS1 games where it was
extremely easy. With PS2, it's good to know hex editing/reading cause often,
you'll find the videos/audio are hidden. Sometimes they are not and you can
recognise them as .pss files. I suggest reading through forums about it. I've
lost the link so I can't help you there.
yes .pss, its actually the container use for ps. the video stream is mpeg 2
audio depends, ac3, adx or something.
for ffx you can go to project fao and get the tool made by the author. i got
both game international version.. try it out first.
if that doesn't work. get dvd decrypter. save the dvd as an image. they hide the
files. then use the extractor from novasoft and scan for mpeg video.
save the all. also get pss demux also from project fao drag and drop. it will
demux the audio and video.
amv.org have some guides.
this is faster than hexediting.
if you comp has tv in or something like that, you could record it using windvr
or similar programs, but there are better way though, especially if there are
ps2 movie player - converter like ps1 had.
Wow thanx guys.I read somewhere about dvd decrypter and alcohol 120% but i
soughta skimmed thru them ^^;.Guess i should pay work on my attention span ^^;
.All this info is helpfull. Let the hunt begin lol .
