What makes a good friend, or just a friend become your best friend? Is it
something they've done or is it just that you've spent a lot of time with them
and enjoy spending time with them? For me it's both the things I've mentioned.
My mate and I have known each other for many years and his wise council and
encouragement always been appreciated. In fact he and his wife made me their
daughter's god father which was very nice of them considering they aren't
religious.

sought after coming across all different kinds is someone who knows my good side
AND my bad side and still likes me, someone who can be there even when we're not
always laughing and being happy but instead supporting each other through rough

Hm, I think best friends are people with whom you can share a 'comfortable
silence'. I personally don't talk a lot, and can't stand people who run words
like a tap, so...
Just someone who you can be yourself with and be perfectly happy.
best frens.... pple i feel comfortable with just being together... no words
needed at all ^-^ just like wat bucket-shot said. my best frens are also the
pple that i feel most comfortable sharing my cares with... all those depressing
times.... i dun usu share my unhappy moments with anybody, only those i can
trust enough to be entirely frank with, and we are defeinitely close when they
share their bad times too!! Just like wat was mentioned in Alice 19th that u can
only trully be frens when u share each others' pain

best friends are the people who support you in life. they listen when you
ramble, they care for you when you're sick, they tell you the truth when you
don't want to hear it, they know the jokes that will make you laugh, they don't
feel awkward in silence, they're the ones who know who you are when you forget.
and in turn, you do all those things back because you want to...not because you
feel obligated to.
best friend, huh? *eyes soften in memory* i have a few of the truest, best
friends there is. where i live, i have three other friends who are like sisters
to me. even though we are of different religions and race. we're the best of
friends. all four of us loves anime and manga. so that explains why we became
fast friends, i guess.^^ we would always sit together during tuition, helping
each other out when either one of us has any problems, sharing stories and jokes
and laughter together. lending a shoulder to cry on... *sigh*however, we're
going our seperate ways now. i'm so scared...i'm scared that we will never see
each other again. but as a chinese saying goes: where there's a meeting, there
will be a parting. i'm gonna miss them...so much *cries sorrowfully* i won't
remember them forever, becoz there is still a time limit to 'forever'. but i'll
always remember them...no matter what.
i'd like to dedicate a haiku to them:
Eternal friendship
Blossomed at a mere meeting
Treasured in my heart.
