L'arc en ciel and T.M. Revolution! Two of my absolute favorite bands...^^
If perhaps i'd be going for something lighter, definitely Mikuni Shimokawa (Full
Metal Panic) and Nobuo Uematsu (IMO one of the best composers ever!). I could
play the instruments. ^^
Although they've teamed up heaps before, Yoko Kanno and Maaya Sakamoto. Those
two together produce such wonderful music with Yoko composing and Maaya with the
vocals.
If I were to make anime music, I'd have to team up with I'VE (Onegai Teacher), Yasuda Takeshi (Ah! My Goddess), Masuda Toshio (Ai Yori Aoshi/Mahoromatic),
Sahashi Toshihiko (Kaze Makase Tsukikage
Ran), or Iwasaki Taku (Read Or Die).
Mainly I'd team up with either I'VE or
Yasuda Takeshi (Takeshi does superb music
from Ah! My Goddess!).
I would say Keiko Matsui, Yoko Kanno, and whoever was behind the Suikoden 3
soundtrack. Oh, and the guy behind the Shadow Hearts soundtrack as well. ^^
dood, it's all about Lil' Jon. i'd get him to produce my song. you could team
him up with anyone, and the song would be the krunkest one on the planet.

i dont know about producers but my singer would definitily be Ayumi Hamasaki the number one in the world
Kotoko/I've or Minami Kuribayashi.
Yoko Kanno Hands down. She is just an amazing musician she can switch from one genre of music to the next and still make it sound incredible.
