Interesting choices. I haven't heard eithre but they've got some good stuff going on lyrically. Actually, the Iron Maiden song gave me an idea for a wall!! ^^; haha, I've been having a little block lately so thanks for sharing! As for the second song, I can understand what the person telling the song means about being a mere replica, because I've found as I've grown up, I've also grown away from myself a little. :\

Well.. out of manners and simply avoiding offending anyone I'm only gonna post the links to some of the lyrics to songs that I feel like at times.

Spineshank's - Asthmatic and New Disease
36 Crazyfists - An Agreement Called Forever
Thrice - In the Years to Come
I just loved because I just really could feel for the lyrics and so much of it described how I felt at times and I could truly feel the pain inside the lyrics.

While songs like Deftone's - Change (In the House of Flies)
It Dies Today's - Naenia

Just really gave through towards the raw truths I learned throughout life.
Though since I'm not nearly as depressed anymore I don't really relate to those songs anymore.

Though this is only a rather small selection of music that I listen to, more of the 'darker' stuff so to speak. Though I'd continue to post more I think I'd end up with one heck of a post @_@.

i understand what ya mean; the "darker" selection is part of you, but it may not be something you currently feel a connection toward. :)
I can connect part of me to some of the lyrics in those songs also, probably because I've been struggling with depression (due to a plethora of issues) for awhile. But, luckily, I've been trying to work out of it slowly. :|
