I think members should be aware that the name they give their scan are the keywords used in a search. Naming a
lingerie-wearing Onegai Teacher scan "Sexy babe" is certainly descriptive, but if I were looking for Onegai
Teacher scans, neither of those words would aid in a search. That's my only suggestion for now, better scan
titles.

Actually, the scans are sorted according to series, so you could set it to look only for Onegai Teacher, for example. There are several boxes at the top of the scans page that you can use to narrow your search.

Well, that's true too, but to example why it's not a 100% system is nearly every scan I've submitted has gone into the "other" category, mainly because I'm uploading retro mecha anime scans and the like. There's no sub-category for those.

Hence the level system. Now it's not hard to achieve level 5, and I'll admit to downloading far more than I've uploaded, but it does limit leeching to a certain extent.

Could we have a "gallery request" forum like PZ did for their uploaders when they had stuff for series not yet in the database? Or even an option for a box so if we put a scan under "other" it marks it as a certain series (not yet in the database?) A bunch of my scans get tossed into "other" as well since there aren't yet sub-galleries for them.

that is a good idea....i think we should do the gallery request thing so ppl can request for a new category...
