Many people have different way of remebering things- such as story books which is pages LONG! THe only way i would do to remeber this is creating the story books into imaginative movies.
how would u remeber your thing (pls specify your "thing" and say how u would remeber this ) ?

well, with books i just have a good memory with those... but as for a thing...
all of the vocabulary i had when i was taking japanese.. i used anime to remember it. XD
ex: to clean= soujisuru
my train of thought went something like this: soujirou (rurouni kenshin) "cleans up" the mess left after all
the other juppongatana have failed. XP

no idea, i just remember. but i have lousy memory so i forget all the time ^_^'
storyboooks on the other hand...i always remember books!!
