Well i've seen some sites where they found a way to set up your own private lineage 2 server. Is this legal? =/
i guess it's not legal since you have to pay for the game monthly =/. Oh and if your interessted in this lineage 2
server thingy pm me i've set up my own server lol just to take a look how it works. Btw on my server almost
everything works =p, sometimes it crashes if u'r getting followed by an agressive orc XD. oh and players still
can't sell any items x_x.

probably not... I thought the game was still in development stages and people were only allowed to go beta with it on their server... not a private server... either that, or I misunderstood something from the begining XD

the official game has gone gold or in other words it's out now in stores. They closed the beta version as far as i read on the internet.

what's so great about this server is that they have excellent server connection speed, which means NO LAG~ a dream for many gamers ^-^
on top of that, for those who played Lineage II before would know that L2 servers generally operate on ports that are often blocked by college and university network administration. Deviant Realms is the first Lineage II private server to operate on non-standard ports, which means students living on campus will not be blocked~the community is very friendly and welcomes new players. the administrators also care a lot for the quality of the server, any botters, and cheaters are banned immediately once they are caught.

Private servers are junk, they are illegal and nowhere near as fun as the actual game. Most of them get shut down and are never out to give you a fun time, most times they are after something else.

private servers are not any more illegal than downloading a song from a friend. we don't charge any money, the administrators simply run the server because they wish to provide a server that is not full of bots, farmers, cheaters etc.
please don't call us a junk server if you never played on our server =( that's just mean.
i agree there are a lot of junk private servers out there, but ours is NOT a junk server. the administrators dedicated a lot of money and time into making the highest quality private L2 server you will find. also notice that our server rate (3x everything) is very low for a private server. this is because we wish to run this server long term, not just some short-time messing around.
we are not after anything besides a fun gaming experience, and the pride of running the best private L2 server out there=)
server event is coming up on feb.6th, new players are very welcome to join us now. our ATM connection can support 3000 players max~ guaranteed no lag since current average # of players on are far from maxing out.
