ah yes yes....Shizuru...her name is so quiet but under the sheep clothing, her powers are so powerful and she is the perfect reincarnation of absolute @Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned@ this is my way of saying she is the most real and most fav character

mikoto!definitely her, shes sooooooooo kawaii XD and natsuki only gets cuter and prettier as the show goes on.and akira too.shes so bashful XD
its really such a "aiyah" thing that mai hime ended, i felt so sad that the show stopped, no more adventures of the girls
oh and nao's got a really crap childhood, shes so streetkid sexy.

^_^ well I think alot of the characters in the show had great qualities and their development throught out the show is great.
Midori is brilliant and fun.
Natsuki is sulky but willing to learn.
Mikoto needed to learn to love.
Mai needed to learn to be honest with herself.
Shizuru and her determination,
Tate was confused and had that nice guy complex... where he didn't want to hurt anyone
Akane was destroyed but became whole again
Miyu proved that robots can have feelings too
Alyssa showed that just because you were young did not mean you could give up!
Chie and Asa-chan where great developed friend characters
Shiho was... she was a good jeolous girl - she had that obsession that Shizuru possesed
Sister was weak but proved her strength
Mashiro and Fumi were a unbeatable team, they knew what they had to do, and regretted it all the time
Nagi... the antagonist - he played his role perfectly
Akira had her love
Takumi and his need to grow up.
Haruka would never go down on her word
Yukino grew as a person - and you could see it happening!I could go on, but it was one of the most developed character cast I have seen in a LONG time. I think I would relate best to Mai, and my favorite would be Shizuru.
