Yeah, my physics/chemistry teacher... He used to always joke with us and laugh with us, but this year, he just seems distant from us... His lessons have become boring.

Yep, but it isn't that common. Mostly my teachers always tried very hard to make sure I always did my best, but for example my year 12 english teacher, while being a great guy and wanting us to pass and all, is a total slackass and didn't teach us crap for the mostpart. I wouldn't say he did'nt care about us, but he didn't really care much for his job either.
BTW, he quit at the end of the year, we expected that, we could tell he was fed up with his job.
