I just finished writing this poem, it's my first release on MT for a long time, I hope you enjoy this one. It's called "Fantasy of Love", and I say it's darker and perhaps a little sad, depending how you read it. Well, see you later and please, as always, remember to enjoy the poem.
Fantasy of Love
Love,
the eternal bond,
shared between,
two souls,
or so it is said.
This bond,
so mysterious,
yet so familiar.
The bond,
that makes one,
feel at ease,
and yet at unease.
That very bond,
bound two souls together,
for all eternity,
yet,
as I look for answers,
more mystery confronts me,
as I am unaware,
as to who,
I am bound.
Looking for her,
I cannot see,
what is right,
in-front of me,
I only see a figure,
not a person.
I don't see that person,
yet I feel them in my heart,
as I see their hand,
slowly entering my heart,
but,
to only cause me pain,
is this what love is?
Or is it just,
a self-deluded fantasy,
that we,
label,
as love.
Is what I am seeing,
nothing more than,
my own fantasy,
yet,
it felt,
so real,
so convincing.
Even to my closed eyes,
and my deaf ears,
it all,
felt so very real.
And in the darkness,
my eyes closed,
my ears shut,
I sit there,
continuing to fantasize,
waiting to see,
if it really was,
nothing but,
a fantasy.
