I can only watch by the side,
wanting to help but feeling hopeless inside,
For I have long fallen and underneath me..
is someone so fearful of the things that I see,
Why...why can't you give me this power..
the power to save you..but instead I began to cower..
In fear that I might lose you..
to the unknown you are falling into..
Let me hold onto your tears,
understanding every moment of confusion,
While I rid you of your fears,
for I am not just an illusion..
I finally understand your moment of grief,
Your time to stay is very brief,
there is not much to hold on longer,
I will change your mind and make you stronger...
Let me be your smile,
the one who will never let you die,
I will do anything to help you last,
Even if it requires putting back my mask..
