No you can get custom skins for Windows media player as well. but the variety is not as many as winamp. I remember I used to use a player call Sonique just to use the anime skins it had.
For some reason the media player skins are mostly on microsoft site. maybe its hard to make or you need some kind of SDK kit or something. I'll let you know if I can find any.
Right Now I'm too lazy to make a signature image!
