I think you guys listed most of the good ones already, so I won't bother =P.

But has anyone seen GitS 2: Innocence? Is it good?

And some upcoming stuff you might want to check out are the Naruto movie, Appleseed (CG remake), Full Metal Alchemist movie, Devilman (live action remake) and others...

hmm GitS 2 yes i've seen a trailer and i think it's going to be much better than the first one ^^.

And again, thnx all for the many titels you gave me ^_^. I downloaded ghost in a shell and Ah! my goddess the movie. Ghost in a shell looks kinda old o_O, anyway i'm going to watch it XD. and Ah! my goddess looked funny so i'm gonna watch it too ^_^. Thnx thnx!

ghost in THE shell >_>

ok i saw those 3 so normally you should like these:
-nausicaa of the valley of the wind (hayao miyazaki, same director as MH and SA)
-my neighbour Totoro (same, cute and funny)
-The castle in the sky ( miyazaki again...)
-grave of the fireflies (studio ghibli again, sad war story)
-perfect blue ( psycho thriller...disturbing)

The cat returns if u want something weird and cute
Or u might wann try Wonderful Days, made in Korea, quite a good action and the CG is top notch IMO

.:Dark Lord:.

My favourite: Jin-Roh (one of the most realistic animes ever; I successfully used it to teach my parents that not all animated movies are for kids)

other good ones: Akira (a bit older, but still good), Princess Mononoke/Mononoke Hime (it's made for all age groups, but I rarely see young persons acting so grown-up), Spriggan (a Science-Fiction-Action-movie)

Si vis pacem, para bellum.

Yes, _everything_ by Studio Ghibli is good...

You might also want to try the Escaflowne movie, A Girl in Gaia. It stands alone, so you don't have to have seen the series before this to make sense of it. :D

On ne recolte que ce qu'on a seme.

even though it's been mentioned, i'll mention it again:

grave of the fireflies

it's a movie that everyone should see, anime-fan or otherwise.

whether youve seen the series or not Cowboy Bebop the movie is a good watch, and if you love the series then u shouldnt miss this movie.

Ora, Knight who say Ni

I'd add Metropolis to this list.

the weaker the dog, the louder the bark. And i'm sooooooo loud!

Loving Mizuho

Ah! My Goddess The Movie
Black Jack The Movie
Perfect Blue
Tenchi The Movie: Tenchi Muyo In Love 1
Tenchi Muyo: Daughter Of Darkness
Tenchi Muyo In Love 2: Tenchi Forever (stars Inoue Kikuko!)

Omega13

Double Impact

I'm sort of surprised no one's mentioned the multitude of Lupin movies yet (especially Castle of Cagliostro). Yea, many of the other ones mentioned are better in terms of story and/or animation, but the Lupin movies are definitely good if you're just in the mood for some random wackiness. Cagliostro was directed by Miyazaki, so you get the best of both worlds there.

sounds interesting omega13 =P.

Most Worthy Adversary

Everyone has excellent suggestions. They are all good anime. There is one that I would recommend however. If you are at all interested in biology even to a minor degree, I suggest you watch BlackJack.
