What are you ten favourite manga ? It could be better to give also the mangaka's name... and maybe a short descrition of the manga or whatever you like about it or what make them so special for you, but just making a list is fine... even without any order.

1 Hikago - Hotta Yumi (Story) Takeshi Obata (Art)
about a board game... it's hard to believe that a manga about a board game could be so addictive.
2 Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne - Arina Tanemura
magical girl theme but has more depth than expected.
3 Hunter X Hunter - Togashi Yoshihiro
I like the twists n this story... and the cruelty of its world
4 Fruits Basket - Natsuki Takaya
so moving
5 Card Captor Sakura - Clamp
fluffy
6 Mär - Nobuyuki Anzai
I still don't know why I liked it so much. Quite a typical ligth-hearted shonen
7 Metantei Conan - Gosho Aoyama
Known in America as Closed Case. It's odd how murders aren't seen that horrible...
even if it isn't supposed to be a gore manga.
8 Kamichama Karin - Koge-Donbo
another fluffy manga
9 Glass Mask - Suzue Miuchi
about theathre... I think it's a quite classical "initiation" manga

10 Naruto - Masashi Kishimoto
not really sure about it... it has begun to lack innovation so maybe more sure contenders will be
DeathNote - Ooba Tsugumi (Story) & Obata Takeshi (Art): when the main character isn't a good guy
RAVE - MASHIMA Hiro: silly humour... awful drawings but Plue is really great... errr... well.. maybe more a silly character
GetBackers - AOKI Yûya RANDO Ayamine : I simply love seing Ginji being afraid cooperating with Dr Jackal.

1) Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita - Yukito Kishiro(story and art)
My favorite manga of all time. Lots of action, gore and the like. A must read for any sci-fi anime fan.
2) Gundam 0079
The first Gundam manga I read and still my favorite. The art remains faithful to the show's and it's good.
3) Akira
Even though they also did a color version a while back and they're doing a anime-manga thing. I still think that the original manga is the best.
4) Ghost in the Shell
Haven't read it in ages, but I remember liking it a lot. Maybe I should go buy them <<;
5) Macross 7: Trash
Nice little side story. Even though the ending seemed kinda lame, it was a good read.
6) King of Fighters: Zillion
Iori gets to kick ass. What more do you need? =p
7) Hunter X Hunter
Way better than YYH imo.
8) Shaman King
Very nice, I wasn't expecting much of it when I bought the first volume since the anime had been butchered by 4Kids. But I enjoyed the manga.
9) Blame!
Another great sci-fi manga. Extremelly weird and has lots of action as well.
10) Naruto
Ninjas+other stuff = this. Zabuza was probably the only villain that I actually liked...the others...bleh

1) Vagabond --> from Inou Takehiko is the best mangaka to me
2) Paradise Kiss ---> from Ai Yazawa wow i was surprised to like a shojo
3) Naruto ---> MAsashi Kishimoto oh...well im allways love ninja stuff
4) Saint Seiya --> Kurumada hehehe a classic
5) Battle Royale --> well i just love the first movie and the manga is better if its posible
6) Slayers ---> quite funny im loving it
7) Saiyuki ---> Kazuya Minekura loev all the characters and the history is quite interesting
8) Prince of tennis ---> takeshi konomi i love his style and the plot is so so great to me and i loev sports
9) Initial D ----> wowwwwwww i love this one specially
10) Yami no Matsuei ---> well i have some doubts in to buy this collection and at last i love it !!

01. Rurouni Kenshin-Watsuki Nobuhiro- Very well produced characters, great story, wonderful art.
02. Pita Ten- Koge Donbo- So cute, characters are very entertaining.
03. Negima- Ken Akamatsu- Funny, great characters, and a cute story that just keeps me hooked. Negi is adorible!!!
04. Love Hina- Very Entertaining
05. Busou Renkin- Watsuki Nobuhiro- Very funny and entertaining.
06. Kamichama Karin- Koge Donbo- so cute and fluffy.
07. Detective Conan- Gosho Aoyama- Cute and entertaning, the characters are just so fun, and the staries are really fun.
08. Galaxy Angel- Kanan- Very beutiful art, and very funny. I like this more than the anime to be honest.
09. Neon Genisis Evangelion- Gainax and Yoshiki Sadamoto- Beutiful art is really what attracts me to this, but I also like the characters.
10. Saint Tail- Megumi Tachikawa- Pretty Art, cute characters, entertaining story.
