wouldn't KNOW that the FAQ is behind the support button, then I wouldn't find it.
Yes, I agree entirely. as Keltosh said before:
Quote by KeltoshThat's precisely what I was stating. I think many persons do
not search for the policy under the support section. Especially if they don't know english well. The support
section, at first thought, can simply seem to be useful if you have problems with the site. So they think:"Hey I
don't need support, it all works fine for me"
Quote by GundamZZthat is
exactly what i was thinking all along....that new users have to read the policy before allowing them to continue to sign
up....i think i suggested that to sheqel b4...but he may be too busy to remember XD
so it seems that we all agree on this part ^^
Quote by bucket-shotAgreed,
the policy sould be with signup, however I'm not sure hiding it is a good idea. :) Because there are obviously some
people who can't speak/read/write English well around this place. So maybe sticking a time limit up so that you
can't just click and enter straight away? Hrm, though that doesn't really solve anything either.
yes Bucket-shot, but I am not sure about this "time limit" nor how should it precisely look like. Furthermore
if we have this only "i accept" button that would move them from the first step till next in their
registration process it is meaningless, as many still would not bother to read the rules. And having that catchy part
that "i accept" would be smth diff within the text we make sure they have to read it or at least scan through
the whole faq...
