i think yaoi/ shounen-ai animes are interesting to watch^^
they are funny and also sometimes amazed me, just as the anime Gravitation
Yami no Matsuei is also interesting, unfortunately, it only has 13 episodes....-_-
so what do you think about shounen-ai animes? you hate it or like it? (plz include reason if you can^^)

I'm not ashamed to say that maybe I'm one of the biggest yaoi-fangirl out there ^^
Ai no Kusabi was my first yaoi anime I've seen and own, then I fall in love with Gravitation and Yami no Matsuei. Any anime even with the smallest hint of yaoiness and full of bishounen, I'll watch them!

Well personally I don't like yaoi (or Hentai or yuri for that matter). I just don't care for it, and basically I can't think of a better reason. The only shounen-ai type of show I have ever seen that I could stand is Kyou Kara Maou. And seriously that show is actually making fun of shounen-ai and yaoi fangirls the whole time.

What really annoys me though is all the fan generated out of context yaoi that is running around on the internet. I understand if you're a yaoi-fan then sure go and watch yaoi or shounen-ai, but please don't mess with the other series. (actually... I hate fanfiction in general especially Mary Sues, those make me gag. )

Well I can safely say I rather quickly became a fan. I have watched the entire Gravitation series, and once I get disc two back will be able to say I watched all of Yami no Matsuei. ^^

I've never watched any before... Since my brother HATE yaoi/shounen-ai anime. So, he never bring me any..... But still, my first yaoi/shounen-ai related anime is Kyou Kara Maou... Since it's very light my brother gave an okay sign..... But later, when I got DSL connection, I get to d/l anime by myself.... and finally came upon Suki Na Mono wa Suki Dakara Shouganai a.k.a Sukisyo... Hehehe..... I love it! Though when I realize that Nao seiyuu is actually Hoshi Souichirou, I was screaming like crazy!!!! I mean, Hoshi Souichirou doing a seiyuu on yaoi/shounen-ai anime???? Yes, I almost fainted watching 2nd episodes of Sukisyo... oroooo......

I'm pretty much open to anything. At first the idea was strange but when I read a really well-written yaoi fic it was made all the better.

i love fanfiction/art and the like even if the characters in the series aren't necessarily homosexual ONLY if the author makes it somehow convincing and offers some grounds for the sudden change of heart. I love yaoi, but I can't stand people who just take the original characters from one of my favourite animes and screw them up royally to fit their own contexts. Some animes are not even called shounen-ais but they involve so much insinuated yaoi that the fans can do anything with it if they have the skill.

Anyways, I'm a huge slash fan as it is, but I don't like fictions where the characters' personas have been seriously altered by the author. Anything else, I'm game. And I'll openly fight/argue about it with those who say it's 'wrong' or 'immoral.' *snarl* It peeves me off when people don't like it simply because it's popular or they don't want to see their favourite character as 'unavailable' *snort* (not saying anyone here has said or done that, just making an example).
