I just made a space background which I'm hoping to turn into a freedom wall.
I think it's not bad but that's because I made it :D. So I want to see what everyone else thinks about it and
whether it's good enough to continue with. Please pummel me with constructive criticism. Don't hold back. Give it to me straight.

I don't think space alone will be enough. You're going to have to add lots of detail to the background if it is to be accepted.

Still, I don't know if the space background will work alone. There are a little bit of specifications in this thread, even though you had nothing deleted:

This thread will explain the problems of a removed submission. Look under deleted wallpapers. Note that if your background is too simple, the wallpaper will be removed.
