I'm left handed and an artist, so thir might be some truth behind the idea that lefties are more artistic. My mom always said that the right side of the brain is creativity and emotion, ect, and the left side is fact, numbers and sensible thought. And your body is controled by the opposite side of your brain: left hand; right brain, right hand; left brain. I've always blamed my bad spelling on it! ^^

The same here. After an accident a few years ago I had to learn to rely on my left hand for doing many things, though now I am coming back to right-hand dominating the basic activities.

...a little trivia i've read...the "true" left-handed people (those whose left is really dominant) are only 5% of the entire human population! it's got something to do with the cortical hemisphere dominance, can't remember exactly what... ^^

I'm a true left-handed person.^^;; But my nanny taught me to use the right hand too, so... I can consider myself as ambidextrous...XD

We are more artistic. :p Actually, it is believed that the side of the brain you use while thinking determine what you excel in. I scored a perfect 5.0 on my "brain tests" so I'm right in the middle. o.o

But left handed people do use the "right" side of their brain ;)

i only draw, paint, eat and write left handed. Everything else I do right handed, from tennis to using the computer mouse. ^_^
