I think that sometimes the best song of an anime isn't the op or the ending.
By example, I like better "Key of the twiligth" or "the world" from .Hack Sign.
Or "akatsuki no kurama" from Gundam Seed.
Others songs I like are :

"akatsuki no kuruma" from gundam seed is really good i agree!
besides, all the other gundam seed / gundam seed destiny insert songs are really good!
i also like "i'm here" from madlax, "a song of storm and fire" from tsubasa chronicle,
"key of the twilight" from .hack//sign, "hybrid rainbow" from flcl, "aozora" from air,
etc... too many good songs ^_^
