hm it depends, some public transportations arent clean and just plain filthy but others are really nice to travel in, but sometimes it gets really crowded with people, and just makes it uncomfortable, >.< so yeah it depends on what sorta transportation im taking

Hm infact that there is not really a public transport here (only busses - every hour one ><)
i do like the public transport systems in the bigger cities ^^ I like driving in a subway (do not ask why) or using the railway (omg i didnt trvel such much like the last few weeks by railway ever oO)... i loike these nw modern comfort trains and i think the time it takes to go from a to b is not so long ^^

Yes and no. I like the part about saving gas for my car. I don't like the part about it taking me twice as long to get somewhere.

For me the biggest problem is the money! A trai or a taxi are very expensive! The best way is to have a car or a motorcicle...

I really like public transportation ^^

i have to take the public bus to school and back. Though the bus system in my "suburban" county...isn't that great because of it's high price and infrequent stops during non-peak hours [it might come by once per hour =P], the bus drivers are nice [some drop me and fellow classmates off right in front of school instead of at the bus stop so we don't have to walk as far], the route covers a lot of the county, and it gets me where I'm going.

Since I still do not have my driver's license or permit ^^' [I haven't even started the process], I have to rely on rides from parents and friends. So when my parents are unavailable to give me a lift, I take the subway. It comes often enough for me and my mom gets a certain amount free from her company. Plus I love sitting there and observing the people around me or those we pass as the train leaves a station. Even better than that, I can read on the subway! Reading in a running car gives me a headache.

Lately, I've also been the trollies and buses in an urban area and though I like the more frequent schedule and the much cheaper prices, all the different routes and numbers is going to take some getting used to...

The only two public transports I have where I live are by monorail and local buses.

The monorail is truly not worth it at all. For one thing, it's on one side of Las Vegas, whereas I'm on the other side. Plus, the train only transports people from casino to casino, no residential areas. However, the ride is very smooth and relaxing. I marvel how Las Vegas grew so much every time I look out the windows of the monorail.

The Local Buses are generally another way to say pay-per-ride transport and nothing special. It's always the usual people that ride the busses, which include old people, poor people, and punks alike. Ever since I started riding a CAT bus, I regret the day it ever happened. The toilet room was never clean, unsafe environment, punks hitting eachother in the back 24/7, and many other negatives.

All and all, public transport is an all time low here.

The public transport system here is completely useless. If you miss your bus, you have to wait over half and hour before the next one comes. And there's no subway. Only buses...
Although they are pretty nice buses. Good interior and design and all that. The student fares are pretty cheap, too.

I take the bus every day, and I hate it.

i don't mind taking it....you gotta do what you gotta do....what ever takes you from point a to point b....

I love public transportation in NYC. Everything .... almost everything, is frequent. Public transportation is the only way for me to get around. It's quick too.

There is public transport in my city ... but I really do not like it, I do not know if it is the same everywhere, but the service here and the "runs" are really not efficient, I always need to take some transfers to go whenever I want to.

Although, I take it for environnmental issues and I encourage people to do so as well to preserve fresh air and reduce pollution !

Here in Mexico, I think it's very funny and dangerous! Because the drivers are insane, and sometimes they make racers with other drivers!. Also, when the bus is totally full of people, they have the impudence to say: "there are places!" or in Spanish "Súbale, hay lugares!"
It's always interesting to take the public transport!

hate it. in poland it's dirty, slow [at least most of the public transport]

Oy I hate it. First you have to wait for what seems like an eternity for the bus and some time sthe subway and then 3/4 times the bus is super crowded. It gets really bad here in Ny sometimes. I feel like a sardine it gets that bad. That really isn't fun especially on hot days where even though it is air conditioned it feels hotter then it did outside because of all the people. I rarely ever get a bus with only a few people. If there are only a few people the bus usually get filled up two or three stops after I get on. Plus I have to pay $2 to get on the bus. If I can I just walk. Yeah it's slower but Atleast I'm out in the open air.

Oh dear you shouldn't complain. Taking public transport is horrible xD. But I know what you mean. Before taking it every single day, PT doesn't seem bad.

Well I'm a big public transport fan. And in Belgium we can't really complain about it, except maybe the trains who don't always run on time. But mostly you won't hear me complain about it ^^ Plus I have my own car, so I don't have to use public transport that much.

It isn't expensive but I'm in a prepa school and I have to spend two hours in those damned buses everyday!!
Usually, there is no sitting place in the aftenoon = one hour standing pushed and crushed against the windowpane. Ant they always drive so fast. They stop suddenly and you almost fall. No mentionning the accidents...
And I have to run everyday to take the bus because college is far from the station.
The stations are far from my home too so everyday someone have to drive me to the station and to home.

I'm a big fan of public transit. It's fun to take your time and see what people are up to. Occassionaly there are crazy nutcases who do funny stuff. You can't laugh at them while they're around but afterwards...

And it's cheaper than paying for gas too.

Public transport really isn't that great where I live, but I don't drive, so I have to rely on buses and trains. It's kind of maddening. XD
